So that's what Charger weapons are for! Ranked mode. Ended up getting a little lucky and won my first 6 games of Ranked. Was the first player to get to "C" rank in my room... But then subsequently lost the next couple. We had a really epic comeback overtime win, where we were down, like, 25-60. It was like, 30ish points. Took over their base and ran down the clock all the way to the win. Really tense.

If you get a couple good snipers on Saltspray Rig, they can setup behind the zone and start camping people like crazy. Played against a team that had two of them setup that way. Ended up taking one out by doing a flying jump across shooting upward. Climbing up those pipes are really useful too.

The Inkstrike is so good for ranked mode. Creates so much confusion.

Really fun... so frantic and tactical.

The hide and seek in Port Mackel isn't what I expected, but it's fun.

Zapper's just okay. Seems like other weapons outclass it.

Matchmaking seems terrible after choosing 'play again' in ranked mode, might be a better idea to back out after each match.

Damn just had the craziest battle in Ranked that ended by the time out. We were ahead throughout the match and then they won during the last 40 or so seconds that ended with a 10-4. Lost 4 matches in a row.....C+ about to go bye bye .

I think that if you lose control you get some penalty for the time needed to get the zone back to neutral. Dunno how they figure out the numbers though.

Anyone understand the + system in splat zones?

When your team takes control, and then the other team takes over afterwards, you get a time bank as a penalty (it's like 1/3 or 1/4 of your time already completed). So you gotta work through that time bank again, in order to countdown again.

I think it's for allowing comebacks to happen.

It happens when you're in control, then lose it, then they gain it. The time added I believe is the time that no one was controlling it for. If you lose it then gain it before they get it, then no time is added

I'm so mad right now, but I love this game. Just had a match where we were ahead for most of the match, but they took the zone and we kept it pretty neutral until the last couple of seconds. It went to overtime and they ended up winning by having a second less than us. Damn overtime. Should've ended when the timer hit 0.
