I only saw through episode 11 (then Crunchyroll took it down), but I absolutely loved it so far.Am I the only person that liked Steins;Gate from the beginning?

...... is such a thing even possible?
Blood-CA friend of mine is showing increasing interest into watching anime, but I haven't seen many shows myself. Would Anime-Gaf care to help?
What he's looking for is as follows:
Suggestions? Thanks.
Oh you!Blood-C
It's pretty serious, and there are comedic elements. It's quite the emotional ride.Oh you!
Oh you!
I'm sure I could just link him Gaf's K-On! thread and he could watch the show through all the gifs and not miss a beat.
Thanks, you three. Steins;Gate was what I first thought of, and I'm glad I've got backup, lol. Gintama, from what I know of it, has a lot of jokes involving parodies, does it not? Maybe I'll have to watch it with him, if he's still interested, and we'll find out ourselves.

I'd still recommend it to people, but I don't love the beginning. It's one of my largest critiques on the show.Oh.... well the vibes that animegaf gave off were that it had weak early episodes
Id recommend it to most people, even if they arent big on anime
C'mon, you laughed didn't ya?So, Blood-C.... 10 episodes of awful. 2 episodes of "why did it take this long for anything to actually happen" and finished off with 5 minutes of LOLWUT
C'mon, you laughed didn't ya?
They should have just named this anime "Panty Paradise". It seems like it's one of those fan service fight anime that will end up with a weak plot.
*sigh*
Onward to the next one.
Anyone have that Hisoka picture from the latest Hunter x Hunter episode?
C'mon, you laughed didn't ya?
how meta
Erm, I'm sure someone would listen and investigate if Yukariko or Asa spoke up aboutWho will listen or even see a ghost?
Are you just watching everything that gets mentioned here?
I'm with you, Brokabe.Am I the only person that liked Steins;Gate from the beginning?
Hey, this is interesting. According to MAL...
... I'm one of those guys.

I miss the 70s
One of those guys who hasn't seen anything from the 70s? Looks like it.Hey, this is interesting. According to MAL...

Hell I was interested in the show because of Kurisu.
Just wanted to add myself to the growing crowd that also feels this way.Am I the only person that liked Steins;Gate from the beginning?
There's plenty of older anime on Blu-ray.More older anime need Blu-ray releases. :x
Hopefully, Robotics;Note would be just as good as Steins;Gate but I doubt it since White Fox isn't handling this.
You mean, the other way around.
Hopefully, Robotics;Note would be just as good as Steins;Gate but I doubt it since White Fox isn't handling this.
It has a mech(s) and better character designs, so its already on the track to being just as good and better than Steins;Gate
why do i get the feeling you're just saying that because they look more like yaoi bait?
Do you have avatars disabled?why do i get the feeling you're just saying that because they look more like yaoi bait?
Well, I know that Macross just got released and Lupin has been out for a while. I guess I don't really know what is essential viewing. There's plenty of older anime on Blu-ray.
Dusk Maiden 11Wow, that was one of the most SHAFT episodes yet! Can someone who's been following the manga let me know if it's still taking bits and pieces from it or if it's just gone straight to doing it's own thing?The next episode's gonna be a real tear jerker isnt it? ;_;
Thanks! I guess I'll check out the manga once the anime finishes next week. They're pretty much doing whatever the hell they want. Stuff that was only implied or hasn't been revealed yet in the manga gets fully fleshed out here. You can still see a semblance of certain plot points like with the grandma, but for the most part it's pretty different. I'm fairly certain Asa doesn't exist in the manga. Unless the translations are behind, I'm pretty sure of all that.
This is moving toward a completely different conclusion than the manga (or one the mangaka will steal a few years from now).
Heidi, Conan, Takarajima all came out recently.Well, I know that Macross just got released and Lupin has been out for a while. I guess I don't really know what is essential viewing.
Oh yeah, I've been meaning to watch Future Boy Conan. I'll check those all out eventually.Heidi, Conan, Takarajima all came out recently.
Even both Ashita no Joe series are out on BD.
