Korra no Densetsu 11-12

This season should have been one episode longer, or maybe the same length but with less relationship trolling.

I mean, sure having the entire story be one huge Xanatos gambit is ok, because Korra's continual lack of past-life connection and never hitting avatar state in any situation were indeed sticking points throughout. But just because 10 minutes before the end I could already see how things were going to play out, especially with the avatar being a spirit bender, doesn't mean you just throw it all in without giving any time to let the situation sink in!

Fate/Stay Night 24 FIN

I had to go through that to get superior hair down Gilgamesh?? His finals words to Saber were so great. Such a boss. el oh fuckin' el at Kirei recognizing the dagger he gave up on a whim 10 years prior too.

What a great finish...
is what I would say if it ended with the final resolution before things went back to normal.

If you love Kirei, give up that piece of trash adaption and read the VN. He had a lot more part in the VN than the anime, especially the third route. Don't even watch the movie, just go straight to the VN and play the remaining 2 route. Fate story and background is so detailed that anime can never do it justice.

After you finish that you can move on to Fate/Hallow, it will be amazing!

NOOOOOOOOOO not the porn!
Sick of all the crap lying around the club room, Saki makes them all clean it up. Then because smokers are horrible people their comics start on fire. And so the club has been shut down because of Saki, so to make it up for them, and getting Ohno sick, has to enter the cosplay contest. She actually does it, and in the end wins because her personality very much reflects the character she's portraying. She looks good as her to boot! The end.
Wait they're still disbanded, so I guess that's why there's still one more episode...

It's to bad she didn't get to cosplay with Ohno...

There's more to that clubroom fiasco - it's definitely not over yet.

I did make it to
Last Episode. It was a nice little epilogue, just wish Saber ended with a more worthwhile protagonist. >>;

Actually,
as hard as it may be to believe, that Shirou likely ended up being the greatest version of all his counterparts. Basically in the Nasuverse when one dies they go off to be reincarnated over and over. Those like Gilgamesh, Hercules, Iskander etc, become something greater and bypass the cycle of death and rebirth and enter into the Throne of Heroes. Shirou in his life however it went went on to do so good he bypassed all of that to end up with Arturia in Avalon. That's quite a damn feat no matter how you look at it, especially with the conditions that Merlin had given.

And of course the flipside in how he may have turned out is Archer, as many fans speculate that he's a Shirou whose past somewhat followed the Fate Route.

So that was a hallucination? I thought it was Shirou's dream, but maybe they are one and the same?

I double checked, you're right, it was a dream that was induced by Rider. Note the square pupils in Rin's eyes at the end of that scene are the same as Rider's.

She was?
When she was transported back in time to the moment right before
her ascension she was still obviously female. And her values and personality (honor) didn't seem to suggest she'd go around intentionally misleading people. And if the marriage was just for appearances then why would
Lancelot
take it so seriously?

Word of Nasu (bullshit as it may be) says
Merlin, being a magus, disguised her gender from others with magic.

That's pretty much what I've heard, that
Merlin is a troll the likes of which would fit on /b/ without missing a beat. He was afterall, the one that temporarily gave Arturia 'extra equipment' so that Mordred would come about. It also helps that Avalon basically stopped her from aging.

And I've also heard that her marriage was for appearances and to give stability. Lancelot took it seriously as it was a betrayal of his King, but at the same time you have to wonder about the way Arturia took it when Lancelot says that she never sought recompense or to punish him for their actions? Was she happy for them enough that it didn't bother her?

Though about disguising her gender again, let's remember that the original version of F/SN had a male King Arthur and a female protagonist. If it weren't for Takeuchi we probably would have gotten this instead:

wait korra is over? They splitting it to 2 seasons?

And Saber sucks as a king, fighter, and servant. Just leave her in the kitchen.

See, Shirou knew that Saber was mostly useless but he put her in the kitchen so her life had some meaning.
Give him some credit.

I watched all of Eden of the East over the last few weeks. I generally enjoyed it. Is the movie worth watching?

If you liked the series, the movies are worth it.

But can she cook well?

No. In the VN she's only good at fighting and bedroom manner.

"..... Please let me handle it, Shirou. I know how to make a man happy." (that is a direct fucking quote, I just double checked to make sure I had that right).

That's some interesting info, I either forgot that or skimmed past it. And now that you mention it I do remember the
crazy eyes Rin had in that dream, but I thought at the time it was just Shirou going nutso.

Man, I don't know if I'm just too used to Japanese voices or if English voice actors are really that bad. Any time I start up an anime and it defaults to English dubs I'm just like, AHHHHHHHHHHH and change it to Japanese right away.

Interesting insight. Saber is caring and humane, which are two things that interfere with the knight's code of upholding the law of the land without fail. It seems like she's too new-school, born into the wrong era.

Also, really glad we didn't get Arthur. Saber fan(s?), unite!

Bet you won't do that with FLCL!

Not only do most dubs sound bad, I just find them to be extremely pointless.

Or maybe I'm just a weaboo, oh well

I still don't know whether they intentionally made that implication for the lulz or just used generic stock H-scene lines and didn't realize what they were doing.

I'm 50-50 on it.

I couldnt ever watch a sub of Naruto part 1, Sasuke > in english than in JPN, just the way he says stuff in that voice, and Naruto too.

It really depends on the show. Generally, if I'm watching it for the first time, I would want to watch it in Japanese.

But, there are some dubs I would want to watch, such as Hetalia's for all those accents. I would also watch it dubbed if it was a rewatch or something.

Though, I'm rather watch recent dubs than older dubs.

Yep, that was pretty much my thought as well.

The last words you wanna hear out of your King.

Indeed, that would be rather awkward.

Yeah, sadly I can't post the screen that comes AFTER that line, or I'd be so incredibly banned! lolol

I have yet to watch the movies but I think they are worth it just to get a conclusion to the story.
They are, I mean you have to watch both since the first one leads into the second and it is an actual conclusion.
They're necessary
but i do feel like they could have done more with the ideas presented
I really enjoyed them. Definitely watch them. Go. Now. :p
They are a fun addition to the series and does give a decent conclusion to the series as a whole.
Where is the hater brigade to totally shit on the movies?! lol

I think they're fine too. People generally have more problems with the first movie because it's all theme and only a little plot. I thought both were nice, thematic continuations and conclusions to the show.
