This game is so gorgeous! Day one for Digital and Physical if it gets one. I like that it seems expanded on the foundation of Nier Automata in world design and exploration. I love that world but having more people and things to meet, plus the mention of offworld stuff and ruins on ours is cool and should be fun to explore. Hyung Tae Kim's art has always been in my upper echelon of faves, nice to see him still around.

Showed my girlfriend this and she's excited, she said its a bit similar to Nier of course but likes the graphics and loves all of the costumes and hairstyles. I'm interested to see if she'll start doodling this Angel lady now instead of 2B on everything haha.

I hope they do a deep dive combat video before release. I have lots of questions about it. Still looks pretty fluid from what we've seen. I saw parries for sure, but I don't think it has 'witch time'. I'm fine with that, honestly, too many games have been using that mechanic. I also hope the ranged stuff does actual damage instead of just being used to extend combos like in DMC.

I do think that's the case because when she uses her range weapon the camera switches to TPS so you can aim your shot.

Unless that bar that appears is its health bar, in which case it does even less damage than DMC lol. Hope it's not just used to stun/interrupt attacks like a 0 bloodtinge Bloodborne build.
