Boy, you guys, I got disappointed by Alien: Isolation. I was expecting Amnesia with Alien, even brought it to a horror night with friends.
The first half hour was nothing and the next was a shitty stealth game avoiding HUMANS.
We gave up after that.
I STILL haven't seen the Alien once!
And the game had nauseating motion blur whenever I turned the camera.
I wonder what Pat and the others will have to say about it.

They usually suck. Even Gurren Lagann's Nia rescue arc was the worst of the 4 arcs. Same with HunterXHunter's Killua rescue arc.

Enies Lobby in One Piece was pretty amazing. I liked the arc where they rescue Lucy from her dad towards the start of Fairy Tail, too.

I missed most of school last week because of reasons. I was bummed about having to go to my Monday class before I remembered it was Columbus day. Then I read on the school's site that classes were still scheduled. I then got sad.
It's our fall break we usually get a week off I think so I go back home, and sometimes visit one of my best friends, but I might not be able to do that. but it'll be a nice break for me still.
I'm sorry that sucks. I hate when that happens to me too so I understand.

This chick is just unapologetically broken. Unlimited SP. A move that instanly recovers her health to full. No debuffs, besides a couple of her moves cause you to bounce too far to combo maybe.. Edit: All her one hit kill moves are now instant as well.
Even among the super buffed boss characters, she's god tier. Invincible.
If there's a way to beat her, I'm all ears.
This is all just reminding me I still haven't seen the live action version... Where the hell do you get your hands on it, I wonder?

I have a very special dark place in my heart for Columbus. He justified his acts in the name of the Catholic Church because he thought the Tainos were cannibals. That didn't stop the thousands of Spanish men in Hispanola from raping the female natives and cutting The hands off of thieves who stole back their own gold.
Don't get me started on Columbus. It's a popular feast holiday in NYC and knowing what those people are celebrating makes me bitter.
Having Spaniard blood and Native blood in my lineage only adds to that bitterness.

wow an episode where the main cast does absolutely nothing except get nekid. An episode basically all about Ritsuko and her scientist ways i liked it also nanomachines. So its obvious that unit 01 is improtant since Gendo was ok with giving up the other 2 eva but not giving up 01.

I'm mean that you could use your IK on some of the moves that aren't safe unless they improve to frames on her boss mode. I always thought that her hama and mudo supers needed to be not guarded for it to work, so I never used it.

It's bout to get real, nigga.
You can do extremely long combos into them, but they're pretty garbage, unlike Naoto/Shadow Naoto's. Shadow Naoto can shadow frenzy, chain supers and remove all your skull counts, then uses Hama and does a 50/50 mixup. Guess wrong, you're dead.

ok so the first half of the episode was a recap of the first 13 episodes, i guess thats appropriate since theres only 10 episodes left of the series along with a movie. Then everything after that things start getting real with the inner monologue from Rei then having Unit 00 go out of control and apparently try to kill Ritsuko? Or Rei? I dunno and the lance of loginus what ever that is and Adam is still a mystery so im guessing this is where the series starts getting nuts?
It just gets better from there on out.
I feel so stupid, man. Jumped the gun WAY too fast.

From what I saw from Giant Bomb's quick look, there's a lot of great things about it, but its definitely a flawed product. I appreciate the oldschool survivor horror elements, but some of it is more annoying then it is horrifying. Its definitely the best alien game ever though.

The stuff about the length is what worries me the most. I normally would be one to savor a game that lasts longer than ten hours, but how this game handles it seems a bit dumb.

wow that ending, i thought Adam was a tiny little fossil in a box that last minute just brought up so many more questions, i thought this episode was just going to be a character development episode which most of it was. With Shinji and Gendo actually talking and Misatos daddy issues. Also i was super/ sure that Asuka was just gonna blue ball Shinji but i was mistaken
