Part of what makes the moth recap episode so awful that besides not doing anything special for the 100th episode it is basically the end of the worst stretch of filler on the show. Granted this isn't as bad as it sounds because Inuyasha has above average filler but still. Lots of Koga.

I always just think metal body=Cyborg from Teen Titans. Easy, right?

Fite me irl, GMN.

eh. i can name a bunch that are worse than that one.

It still boggles my mind that after hundred/thousands of years of ninja fighting not once did anyone have the brilliant plan to train and equip every squad with a medical expert. Also in the series do we ever see a male medical expert or are they always female?

Chunnin exams when people needed taking away.

Wait, who is the medical ninja specialist on team Neji/Rock Lee/Ten Ten? Or on team Shika/Ino/Cho? Or on Gaara/Temari/Konkero's team? Heck at this point in the series neither Hinata or Sakura have shown any knowledge of medical jutsu, why would the academy break them into teams/squads without a medical expert or without any medical training or testing for medical aptitude?

They still haven't set that up yet. Only certain ninja teams are lucky enough to have a medical ninja.

Except this arc has beaten into rule that because of Tsunade's influence every team must have a medical ninja and how a simple suggestion drastically improved the life span of ninja and helped make missions more successful.

She was the first to suggest it (for some reason) but it wasn't actually enforced. She was just some legendary teenager at the time.

I know it wasn't at the time, but Jiraya says it's in effect present day, and up until this point not a single member of a single team we've seen has been a medical specialist.

It's an issue of time. Medical school takes forever and you need heavily specialized ninjas. I don't know if there's a throwaway reference to her starting this program somewhere in Shippuden but there should be.

She's also facing some extraordinary inside pressure from a certain someone in the Leaf political scene.

i always figured that wasn't actually a thing until they got older. now they're just teaching the kids.

Danzo
is one of the worst characters introduced in Shippuden, especially when we learn
his arm is loaded with Shargian, seriously what was that shit

So why did Naruto give up on the balloon bursting exercise and jump straight to smashing Rasengan's into trees? I get it basically does the same thing, but still

Bad translation or retcon. Late Naruto spoilers.
Remember that Shikamaru suggests the same thing after the failed Sasuke retrieval mission and Tsunade tells him that it can't be done.

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
I was reading through another forum, and someone that's been working for Jump has reported that he's met many of the authors. The surprising thing is that Kishimoto and Oda have very similar personalities and are really good friends. That's pretty interesting.

He also met Kubo, and noted that he's "exactly what you think Kubo is like".

I imagine Kubo to be the type of guy who says "Draw backgrounds in Bleach? I'm too busy banging supermodels to do such a thing"

Tsunade kinda changed the game with medical ninjutsu, mastering it and being able to do it on the field and went and trained everyone how to do it, including suggesting the medical person on each team. This was time of war as ninjas arent usually suppose to get caught anywhere otherwise.

I blame myself for not getting back to the bleach manga like I keep telling myself for that spoiler.

It's the girl of the team. Every time. Without fail.
