Sorry I missed it, but have they shown any combat for the game? I looked on the kick starter page but it's hardly mentioned at all.
Seriously?

Can't you just invest your GPU budget for 6 months into it?If we don't get that second big city (4 million) I am going to cry.
Yes, we need that in GIF form so I can spam it everywhere.
It's too bad that Divinity launched so close to this, I'm sure RPG fans wallets are still reeling.I wish all the Shroud of the Avatar money could be split between this and Divinity.

To think we will actually get a sequel to Planescape: Torment. It still amazes me.
There have been some suggesting all backers to try and put an additional $5.16 on to their pledge. This represents the 5 tides, 16 legacies they are aiming for with the 4 Mil goal. That'd be pretty neat if a bunch of backers did that.
Thanks to media coverage as well.Over $90,000 (har har) today. The new stretch goals must be working.
They arn't counting the extra 200k towards stretch goals correct?
Thanks to media coverage as well.
They should announce a transverse character or something, something controversial, so it creates buzz breaking the 6 million
There you go.
Crazy. PE was getting about 1k backers 3-4 days out, but getting 100k per day
If it gives me my precious stretch goal, I'm willing to abuse it Ò_Ó. Promise cute kittens, pirate-zombies and monkeys, as long as it brings in backers! x)Transverse?...you mean transgender character?
No that's the worst thing they or anyone making a game/movie/book can do. The transgendered are real people with personalities, not an exploitable marketing tool. If they decide that they want to include a transgendered person in a game they should do it properly and where it makes sense. Placing them or any other underrepresented group just because they have to fill a quote only accomplishes three things. First, the character will inevitably be terribly defined in game and will garner a generalized negative reaction from both the relevant groups and the general public. Secondly, it dehumanizes and insults important aspects of peoples self image and life, and the actual social issues they face. And finally, bigotry and suspicion of 'others' is the default and most basic reaction human society relies on. Education and outreach programs are already facing a uphill battle and a checkbox representation to garner marketable controversy gives the impression that deviations in sexual preferences/gender identity are easy choices people make to 'attention whore'; à la mainstream perceptions of homosexuality twenty years ago. PR and marketing firms that engage in such behavior should be shunned.
That being said, neither does every representation of the aforementioned has to fully explore the issues as a main focal point of the character's development or main storyline; nor does the character have to be portrayed as a stereotypical Disney story of acceptance and outcome (i.e the article by Petit on Persona 4...such a misguided paper). A character can be well written and just have such details a part of their character development.
So many people increased their pledge. I tripled my pledge in the last few hours of PE.
Avellone is a go. Onward to the $3.75 stretch goal.
They do.I thought paypal didn't count towards stretch goals?s
