Fuck I looked at the sun
Damn why, Ashby?! Why? Damnit no. I felt weird just by looking at it briefly with the solar glasses already!

I guess the lesson here is 100% coverage or bust. I got 98% where I am and it was lame.

5 min mothafuckas. going outside soon. still pretty bright
There is no comparison. 100% and 99% were entirely different experiences.
Totality was unlike anything I have ever seen. The atmosphere felt other worldly
High five for the KC bros in here, didn't realize there were that many of us
Anyone in Houston seeing anything? I'm in baytown but nothing is happening/happened
I saw totality for 2 minutes. Wow, it was amazing!
I had zero appreciation for the difference between almost and total. I feel terrible for not inviting some family to visit. They are doing 96% total so I thought that was close enough.
So I can't see it here in NC? The sky is slightly orange here.A 60+ mile wide path from Oregon to South Carolina
Watched the entire thing while at work in Corvallis Oregon
Entire workplace was watching it from the parking lot.
Was pretty cool and even got a pretty neat picture when it was fuly dark
. I also drove 10 hours. After having witnessed it a 10 hour drive would be absolutely worth it
Yeah people not under full totality don't realize this.
Even high 90s is not the real thing. The crazy phenomena only happens under full totality. The planet's could be seen in the sky, full 360 degree sunset, the bugs started chirping, and the sun itself......unreal
