Man, I'm just waiting for the day someone links to a shemale porn site or some shit like that.
Someone tried but failed.

How does this make any sense? Would they be using a magical engine that swaps assets based on number of characters on screen, or would they be deliberately designing the game to chug along at 10 fps in other situations?God I hope so, their was only one character on screen (Drake)...

What an Uncharted game makes technically much better than the competition are the animations and the set pieces like the docks, trains, falling houses and stuff.
I can't imagine how these things can be topped with Uncharted 4.

And apparently they aren't using that many polys to draw him. So they should have no problem putting more characters on the screen or doing action sections with a lot of animation.
Unless you really think the whole game with be Nathan walking alone through a jungle and nothing else
... For me, when I found out it was 1080P 60, on top of outclassing everything else out there visually, that was an "oh wow!" moment.
It really shows the stupendous amount of hardware power. Dat gap.

Well, at a certain point, more poligons don't really make for a more realistic looking character, but you can use other things to make it more convincing. (Shaders)
I'm pretty sure NaughtyDog is going to set a benchmark and they will show what Mark Cerny was all about.

Yep. 2160p being called 4K still irritates me.
It is great Naughty Dog are aiming for 60 FPS from here on out! Real time cut scenes + 60 FPS gameplay = awesome
^_^
The ability to blend cutscenes and gameplay by going all real time will add to immersion quite a bit. It's also probably a necessity since video files are huge. It will save them a lot of disk space.
60fps is just icing on the cake.
Great video that puts a lot into perspective.
I also agree with him that ND's animation is going to be incredible this gen now that they have more RAM to work with. I look forward to seeing that in particular, especially at 60fps.
Yup..
One of my biggest hopes this gen is that we move away from the "cut to black" that has plagued us for so long.
Cutscenes should be seamless.
Same with Elder Scrolls and Fallout 4. Indoor and outdoor should be one. Sounds and light should pass through windows and doors freely.
Thats what this gen needs to be about, and with this much memory to play with, it shouldn't be too difficult.
God I hope so, their was only one character on screen (Drake)...
Seriously? It's a colossal leap beyond The Order. In fact, it's a colossal leap beyond anything.Graphically speaking, this trailer doesn't look as impressive as the stuff we have seen from The Order 1886. But, both games should shape up nicely by next year![]()

I actually agree with you and I am sure it will not be a popular opinion. While UC4 looks absolutely amazing it still looks like a game to me. The Order looks more real..... not sure exactly what it is and I have been trying to figure it out. I think UC4 is more impressive technically because of what it is actually doing at 1080p and 60fps.
In the looks department.
they both look great

You serious? I think The Order is gorgeous but this looks AT THE VERY LEAST on par and is running at a higher resolution at double the framerate.
Yeah, this is a big step up from the order. Lighting, modelling, texturing, if it looked like that at 30 fps I would have been a bit sceptical. This at 60 fps is awesome.
The Order was king, but Uncharted 4 completly decimates it.
60fps and 1080p already set U4 on another level.
UC4 trailer is double the framerate, higher-res and looks at least as good.
That said, I feel like the final game, with full environments and AI and physics and effects and whatnot, will not look this good. Or if it does it won't be 60fps. Which will make me mad.
I don't know, The Order's gameplay graphics look amazing and their facial models are some of the best I've seen in a game but the Uncharted teaser is to a noticibly higher degree. I doubt Uncharted will look exactly like this during gameplay probably what the cutscenes will look like.
Yeah sorry Sniper. The Order is incredible but this is just more impressive. Course it is a cutscene so we will have to wait to judge gameplay against gameplay but it just seems firmly ahead of everything else.

You also picked one of the better screens of the order and the absolute worst screen I have seen of the UC4 reveal....

As opposed to what? 4K UHD? Or do you just prefer 2160p?
The Order looks insane, think I've watched the E3 trailer a dozen times now but Uncharted is just on another level. The idea that I'm hopefully going to control a game that looks like that next year is still mind blowing.
