wait until they find out the FIFA demo allows very limited tries. So demos to be limited by plays like the 3DS ones lol meltdowns all over the place

Nintendo TVii was promised at launch too. Got pushed back to December. Okay...whatever. Still have games to enjoy
That remains unconfirmed. I hope it'll be different, but I'd still like to play the kiosk demo from the comfort of home and with audio, anyway.
I think, last we heard, all three are scheduled before the end of March, but that's as detailed as it gets.

Likely on Ubisoft. They promised for the North American launch and European and failed both times.

more eShop games on the US shop on Tuesday! I was worried about Thursday only updates but eShop has two games listed for download dated for the 4th now
not having this game on the eShop was a bad move by the publisher, because the way the community has taken off they are missing out on impulse buys smh
I would have gotten it if I saw it on eShop but not worth the trip out in the cold to the mall or even worth going on Amazon for, but I am very trigger happy on eShop right now

Nope. It pauses the playback once you go to the home screen. That would be a nice touch in addition to 5.1 audio! WTF Nintendo????

Home screen does pause it but I wonder if going through Nintendo TV is different... We will have to see

Just beat Scibblenauts unlimited and it was a pretty good game, glad i got it at launch
Had fun doing all the objectives and etc and will pick up the DS ones since I never played them.
Pick up guys sometime down the road , you'll like it.
Wish red box carried wii u games, oh well.

So just to confirm:
I played Nintendo Land, updated and online, ALL DAY, with two friends and it didn't even hard locked once.
I'm wondering if the whole freezing issue some people have isn't connection related now, since some were thinking it was because of the software that needed to be patched.

It was at least anecdoctally confirmed to be a miiverse problem. When miiverse is working no one seems to crash in Nintendo land, but when Miiverse was down the forums were flooded with Nintendo Land crashing.

heh, i just got ah idea. what if the browser on wii u parsed webpages to automatically turn the pattern 'nnid: xxxxx' into a shortcut link to search a persons profile in miiverse?
I can get one more game. I'm going either zombie u or cod blops. Can I split zombie mode local Co op between tv and screen? Any suggestions? I like the idea of Co oping that way if possible. Zombie u looks interesting but not sure how it would compare. Is codblops a really poor port for Co op?

In general, I love gaming but I also love football and watching it, do during champions league week and weekends i used to find i rarely gamed. Now i can have the football on in the background and a game on the gamepad. A lazy mans multitasking at its finest!!

When the only other ads are close ups of people eating ramen or drinking beer and then going 'Aahhh', or doing a song and dance number about a supermarket, I'd expect the Wii U ad to rank highly

Picked my bundle up from gamestation yesterday, went for the zombi-u bundle plus batman and NSMBU.
Setup went fine although system update took just over an hour. so far i'm really impressed especially with the tablet.
Anyone know of a thread for NiNDS as miiverse is lonely at the moment!

how are you finding batman? I'm tempted by the low price point it's available for in cex. I've already played it, so I don't really need to buy it, but it would be nice to have another game to play during the cold winter months what with ninja gaiden 3 not making launch.

There is a option to link your Wii U with Club Nintendo when you set up/or in options i believe. From there you fill out a survey on club nintendo and you get your points.

You don't register on CN. You create a Nintendo account and log into the eshop, and it asks you to pair your club Nintendo account. You get your points that way.

Once you access estore you get to link the wii u to your club nintendo account. Although I did that but didnt then get the survey when I went to the website.

Thanks guys! I did create an account and even bought NSMBU that way, but didn't get a survey (unless it was only visible on the TV which wasn't connected). And when I login to my CN account I only see Nintendo Land.
I used to register my products on my American CN and on that one I remember registering systems as well as games, but it's been a while so maybe they have changed it. Now I'm on the European one.

Pretty solid so far, couple of dips in framerate, but certainly not unplayable, i picked it up because it was cheap and i never played the Harley DLC or did many challenges when i owned it on 360.

Actually now it's showing up when I click on "my consoles & games" (in Spanish). It shows the : Wii Premium Pack (Negra), Nintendo Land, and NSMBU. So I guess it's all good!
