Rollers are really good in Ranked depending on the map. The spread their waves throw out when you have the high ground is no joke. I do feel the Dynamo Roller is just a bit too slow to be practical there though it kills it in Turf Wars, especially on the new Roller God map.

the lobby had framerate issues?

edit: also, rerolls?

Whoops, meant the hub, not the lobby. It was very choppy before, now it's a bit better.

And at level 20 you can re-roll your clothing at Spyke for ~30k. The glitch allowed you to get that refunded by speaking to Judd.

You should see it on warehouse or rig, Just rain paint and cover the zone.

Dynamo rollers are good in splat zones if you get a good position to just blast ink. They're more effective that way than actual rolling.

Haha, I'm not a roller guy, but I just had 3 rollers on my team at Port Mackerel, and let me tell you, domination ensued. Those narrow corridors had our rivals getting steamrolled around every corner. (And I helped with the Inkzooka during strategic points in the round.)

This game is amazing.

They are fantastic if you can get the high ground. Plus they've got the sprinkler, which is also great if you can get the high ground. But if you need to actually, you know, paint something it's the slowest weapon in the game by far.

I don't usually complain about teammates but wow, those were bad. I had two enemies pinned down with my charger and then two rollers(!) decides they are going to charge directly into their splatterguns.

I actually use it for killing though or keeping opponents from getting close while the other guys take care of painting the zone. It gets outmatched when a charger is on the opposing side though as it forces you to move out when spotted.

Pretty good rounds tonight. There were a few frustrating rounds where I put up a big number in a loss, but did well overall. Finally getting the knack for the Harbor level... It's still not a great level for the Aerosprays, but at least I'm not stupidly running into the enemy side blindly anymore.

Good games dude! Jims also graced us with his presence

Good games! Recognized Enforced and Heath tonight, and played some rounds earlier with Horizon too. I liked how you started stalking me on the Rig level, since I was so consistently rushing to the northern pier. Was really surprised when I had company that time. I looked down at the map, and wondered, what is that giant pink tail following me?

Yeah. I used it in the first day of Ranked battle for the first time I figured out to avoid chargers and stick with someone to have my back. It's also good hitting people trying to go up the ramp on the mall.

I realised today that I have some kind of pavlovian memory regarding the ONE MINUTE REMAINING song and can now use it to time things that need a minute or less.

Finished the story mode and it was a fantastic little campaign with the Nintendo's trademark game design all over it. Incredible bosses. Just overall painted with quality. Dreading the charger challenges knowing the shenanigans of the later levels now. Speaking of the story, just a few hours ago and just realized that
Agents 1 & 2 were The Squid Sisters. Should have been obvious but I thought they were a girl and boy until the end.

Now I'm finally ready to join GAF in multiplayer...sorta. I'm still level 7 but I plan to put in my hours. PositiveCalvin is my NNID and My Nickname is CAL. Just PM so I know to add back. Hope to get some adds :)

This may sound noob-ish, but how do I join a Turf War? I've gone into the plaza tower, but I can't select the function that allows me to join in, even though all other buttons (Rules, Stage Rules) work fine. It doesn't seem to need the touch-screen either, and I don't even know if I can change control setups.

Basically, I'm stuck playing the single-player of a multiplayer-focused game.

I just had a ranked match where a teammate idled 1 minute in and we were KO'd, why should we get punished for shit like that?

Welp, level 20. Tomorrow I'll start on the road to A rank.

I REALLY don't like port mackeral. I think it's the weakest map thus far.

So what was everyone's strategy for the skate park stage in Splat Zones? I couldn't figure out a good way to go about that stage. The two zones were a huge pain.

Nice! What weapon?

This is my current setup:

So far Scattershot Pro is my favorite. Great range, okay damage and speed. Comes with standard bombs and cheap ass inkstrike.
