Moved it to Chrome and it's working on 60fps now.

I used Safari before and it didn't work well.

Is not as simple, since they each work on different aspects. So once one of them finishes their thing, then moves onto the next one.

It's also at their own pace, it wasn't until a few months ago that the engine was stable enough for what they wanted at 60fps which made them realuze that it could actyally be released this year. They started working on it 2-3 years ago. Like how in 2013 they were talking about using 4k textures in FAST.

That wouldn't work. The reason why the Direct works is because they break down each game and show you want makes them good. You can't really do that in something like the Direct or a live presentation.

And, seriously, the Treehouse only had those really high numbers the first day and most tuned on for the Smash Tournament. The last two days were much lower because of repeats.

I was just thinking today that Nintendo needs to leverage Treehouse more throughout the year to showcase games. It doesn't have to be often, but maybe every month or so, they can show off parts of games in order to keep them in their customer's minds and provide a more in-depth look. Would be really great for indie games, too.

Looks closer to Wipeout to me, but then we haven't had a Wipeout for a while either, so I'm still hyped.

Don't know if I should bump the E3 Digital Event topic but it's been confirmed that the puppets used in the segment were officially done by Henson.

That so? I haven't seen that labeling anywhere on their E3 site. The way they've been talking about it makes it sound like the "version" wording just means choosing which story. I guess we'll see.
 
they're still using "version" and "path" interchangeably, so I'm still a bit confused about it :lol

in any case, more Fire Emblem is always a good thing. Haven't finished Awakening though, but I've had a lot of fun.

They have been doing that. They stream Smash when it launch in Japan, played Splatoon dojo mode after they had a big Direct, and they even steam Xenoblade X when it came out in Japan. So, they do have the Treehouse do stuff, but only hardcore fans follow it, much like the Iwata Ask.

Nintendo has been vague as heck about this game and the Animal Crossing game as well.
I am going to assume the release over here is the same as Japan.
When you talk about Pokémon you say Pokémon Red and Blue. So *shrug*

I know that on the treehouse 'conquest and birthright' have been mentioned; but vithout elaboration about what that means. Could be a pokemon esque Red and Blue or a Persona Q style P4 side and P3 side...

Yeah kind of. I think it could be sort of in-between the two styles, leaning more towards Wipeout. But I don't know really, hopefully we'll get some demo impressions.

Such a waste. Was expecting much more from the muppets than a couple of quick shots.

The whole thing is such a frightening waste of potential. We've seen from virtually every other part of E3 that Nintendo has good stuff, but almost none of it was in the Digital Event, and the stuff in the Event was shown badly.
 
I love the fact that the battles now happen in the actual places your units are in the level. Finally!

Oh, and FEET (even though they're small)

Nintendo of America sits on titles after they have been completed. See Yoshi's Wooly World for example. This isn't surprising.
