E3 2015 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3

You must buy the Animal Crossing Party bundle!
RIVE and FAST? Screw that noise, Chibi Metroid!
Actually this is the first E3 Digital Event with no Indie Reel I realize...

I felt bad for the indies but there is the Nindies@home thing and FAST is on stream.

What do you mean, many people from Rare went to Microsoft when they were bought. Only the Goldeneye team left. In the west, talent leakage is normal.
Heck, Retro lost a lot of their talent every time they finish a project and there is no drop in quality in their games.

As for Nintendo's IPs, given how many IPs Nintendo has it's almost impossible to make new entries for all of them. Especially niched titles like F-Zero, Pikmon, ect. Heck, as much as people clamor for a new F-Zero, GX didn't sell too well.

Well, again, it could happen, but it's not a guarantee, either. Not worth arguing, though, since it obviously didn't happen

I just love how fun it is to build courses.
You got special musics depending on the background, neat little sound effects when you place stuff, it's fast and easy to build/remove/copy paste, and you can test it immediately.

Nintendo was a mistake

Treehouse is our savior

In all serious, the Event wasn't that much different from last year except most of the new games were Wii U games while this year it is 3DS games. There were a lot of games we knew about, but were expanded on like Xenoblade X and Bayonatta 2, with the big surprise being Splatoon. It seems the Digital Events show the games, some interviews from the developers, and it's the Treehouse's job to fill in the details and dig deeper. In other words, instead of having one big blow out they spread it out over the three days.

Mario Maker is looking absolutly awesome, perhaps ninty are thinking with so may people able to craft their own Mario games the WiiU platform will support itself.

o Idon't know if I can watch more MM playthrough please just put it in my veins. Good LetsPlay potential to bring more people into making games too

Yeah, of all the level makers/game design games, this one seems like the most accessible and fluid. Even LBP was kind of chore to create levels, while MM seems very smooth and easy to jump into.

My minds already racing with ideas for Super Mario Maker.

Had no idea how much I wanted something like this.

I loved Mario Paint back in the day, so I should have known lol

This is where I honestly believe that much can be learned from Mario Paint from the SNES with its simple, understandable and to the point approach to user creation.
