What movie are you referring to?Didn't Tom Hardy hate what he did til he finally saw the movie?
I know a real non-comparison but still.

Yeah, that's concerning.Yeesh. Talk about high hopes. When Newsbeat asked Miles Teller, who plays Reed Richards, whether he was ready to prove the critics wrong, he replied: "We haven't seen the film either."
"Rarely are films of this size critically well received," he said. "This is not a movie we're going to go on (review website) Rotten Tomatoes and it's going to be at 80 or 90 per cent."
Mad Max was getting very positive screenings a year before the movie was released.
You're right sorry, it was some cast member that touted it as a wish. I fell victim of clickbait titles haha. What could Universal do with Namor alone though?Source? Was supposed to be Universal
I thought Feige said that the Namor rights were all over the place? You're right sorry, it was some cast member that touted it as a wish. I fell victim of clickbait titles haha. What could Universal do with Namor alone though?
Maybe Aquaman might give it a boost, completely different characters I know, but if it generates enough interest in underwater stories maybe someone will push harder for Namor.I thought Feige said that the Namor rights were all over the place?
I made a really bad comparison![]()
As did I, but sadly it's not looking to be the case.I get it dude, I wanted this to be good.
Wait, wasn't the premiere supposed to be this past Friday?
Weird, I guess the premiere wasn't exactly advertised. You're right. Big Boi hosted the premiere in Atlanta this past Friday night.. Either the cast did the red carpet photo op and then ducked out before the movie started because they had better things to do. Or the movie was so horrible they blacked the whole thing out. At this point, either option seems equally likely.

While that would be nice, the fact that the cast isn't confident in this film & the embargo not lifting until the Wednesday before release isn't exactly reassuring. Again, I hope the movie pulls through, but recent events seem to indicate otherwise.im calling it,
its going to be considered the greatest comic book movie of all time, a tour de france for the industry,
a wide consensus of it will consider it the best film of the year, and one of the top 5 action films of all time
Weird, I guess the premiere wasn't exactly advertised.
I was actually gonna say that. That is one teeny tiny premiere.
Don't premieres usually take place in LA? I usually keep track of the MCU films' premieres on account of Marvel actually streaming them on YouTube.
.
I knew I was forgetting something. But to be fair, Atlanta is starting to become a premiere place for filming.I love ATL but seems a weird place to have the main premiere. NYC and LA, London in a pinch usually get them.
Yeah Atlanta is blowing up. Music has always been here but more and more TV and movies are getting made here. We are the Vancouver of the south. Thanks tax credits.I knew I was forgetting something. But to be fair, Atlanta is starting to become a premiere place for filming.
It's like they're trying to do all the press and marketing for the film while keeping costs and attention as low as possible.
Edit: NYC and LA are usually the main premiere spots. London is used for European premieres. I can't remember which country is used for Asian premieres.
I thought Marvel can use Namor now?
My god, it's like Ike Perlmutter is running the show. The using the change they find in the couch cushions to fund marking.
Ah, right. Thanks for clearing that up.http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/how-marvels-hulk-got-caught-804562?utm_source=twitter
Universal holds the theme park rights to Marvel characters that Disney wants, so the film rights are in limbo.

Fantastic Four as a movie property must be one of the most cursed properties.
Borys Kit over at hollywood reporter just said on twitter that up to 40 pages was reshot during reshoots. That's crazy.
Doesn't help that Marvel is refusing to make any F4 merchandise. I'd mention the comic cancellation, but that seems more like the F4 comics not selling much than screwing over Fox (though the movie may have played a role in the comic's cancellation). The using the change they find in the couch cushions to fund marking.
what is the average page count for a script?

1 page is roughly a minute of screentime.
So, figure 120 pages for a 2 hour movie.
It's just in the hands of Fox.
That was back in 2005.
That was back in 2005.
Either Fox moves forward with a new director & fast track the X-Men crossover or give Marvel the rights back. What happens if (when?) this movie ends up tanking? It looks terrible. Is Fox planning to continue releasing half assed FF movies for the sole purpose of rights retention?
The crossover will happen.Either Fox moves forward with a new director & fast track the X-Men crossover or give Marvel the rights back.
100 minutes is a bad sign lol. Heck I remember Trank at one point said it was 2 hours.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVGckf8GtrQ
Goddamn just looked at the run time and they say it is 100 minutes.
The crossover will happen.
