Didn't Sony make a deal with Marvel which let them keep the film rights while Marvel get the merchandising rights?

Sony sold their financial interest in any future merchandise generated/licensed from their Spider Man films to Disney to get themselves out of a hole one financial quarter.

Prediction; They'll go the Miller/Lord Spider-Man route and make an animated film. Though not bother getting a Miller/Lord tier director.

Lord/Miller are writing a treatment for the animated Spider Man film at Sony, nothing more.

It's alright. Glass only has a couple tracks.

Glass and Beltrami did tracks. I haven't done listened to it in full, but apparently you can tell who did what.

You can obviously tell which songs are Glass' & which are Beltrami's. It makes the soundtrack not flow together & sound mostly generic.

Shame about the soundtrack. I feel like that is the most forgotten aspect of these damn films lately, when it used to be such a strong point.

I haven't been into the prediction game much lately. I'd imagine $34-39M for FF, $17-22 Compton. Something like that.

Maybe a bit high on Compton.
