This is no surprise after the underperforming console versions of RB and GHL.

Expected. How can they dare asking people to fund a port ? Come on, what the heck is that -__-
Especially after their claim about a potential PC version before the console release.
Funding a Port is OK but only when it makes sense.
Who would play a party game such as Rock band where you just need the big screen and room around it for your friends, on a PC ...

I don't know how much slack they have left.
It was a terrible idea from the start
Yea. I thinktll happen either way somehow. What else are they going to do ....The story behind this whole thing is kinda ridiculous, and more than anything, the PC port of RB4 seems like a move of desperation to seek a new source of income over at Harmonix.
It's a shame, but sadly they made their bed, now they sleep in it.
How long does Harmonix last?

- MS dropped Kinect just as their Fantasia launched
- Amplitude seems to be flop although this was cheaper to make
- Rock Band 4 is severely underperforming
being on FIG fucked it over
kickstarter would have been a better idea
also fuck them for holding out on PC as if it's a final trump card to keep the franchise alive
People ignore it because it's a tiny portion of the market.I am surprised how many people seem to conveniently ignore the fact that you can also play PC games on the tv. Agreed that it makes no sense to play Rock Band with 4 people on a desk monitor, but that would not be how anyone would play it anyways.
The attempt to bring back plastic musical instrument games on console was already a little misguided in my opinion.
There was no way it would get that much interest on PC, especially when they're asking for the port to be funded for them. I can't think of much worse than being sat on an office chair in front of a desk with a huge tatty plastic guitar.

Nobody would need to be at a desk.
I still think it's kinda nuts that they used Rocksmith as a point of comparison. It's not a remotely similar game.
Isn't that where 99% of people keep their PC's?
Isn't that where 99% of people keep their PC's?
How much of that 99% use their PC to play video games? How much of it is invested into Steam? Steam is where they want this and a big part of the push Valve has been making for the past several years is that there is no need to be at a desk to play these games.
Fact that only 44 people claimed the only option between $49 and $150 bucks is crazy
I mean 50 bucks for a badge, pick and drumstick? lootcrate want there crap back.
I can't wait to see how this is spun to make it look like it's the PC gamers' fault.
