Half of me looks at those states listed and wonders if she's buying into the "Trump won by hax" conspiracy theories and, in her heart of hearts, knows Trump is worse than Clinton and is taking a political step Clinton can't.

Assuming that efforts to stop Net Neutrality in the US from going away fail, what will realistically happen? Everybody keeps saying RIP Internet but I would like some more insight into this.
I understand that it would allow ISPs like Comcast to slow down or otherwise stop people from visiting certain sites, but realistically, what sites will be affected by that? Youtube, Netflix, definitely. But what about lower-end sites like Deviantart, Fanfiction.net, Pixiv and others that are mostly just pictures and text? Would ISPs outright block those just because?
I live in Canada, so this won't specifically affect how I access the internet, but I'm concerned about many content creators living in the US who will be severely limited or even crippled by this. Jim Sterling, Nostalgia Critic, AVGN, Thousands of Patreon users, etc.
It's why I feel like Net Neutrality going away is still unlikely even with the latest FCC appointments. It's in more danger than before, yes, but that won't stop people from fighting. Which leads me to my next question.

If any part of our election process is under scrutiny it is best for our Democracy to investigate possible forms of corruption that have merit. A call like this is not a good political play for anyone on the losing side of the ballot, but I doubt Donald is going to go out of his way to verify that our system is in working order.

Obama's team did actual vetting, which takes time, even if they started months before the election. Trump is just randomly meeting with people, thinking about them for five days, and making decisions.
At this point I'm only shocked when the least insane candidate is picked. I'm still desperately hoping Mittens wins SoS to save the U.S. some sort of dignity, but my expectations are at rock bottom.
I also love how we are draining the swamp with Republican mega donors now. Seems like a legit way to get things started.

Really depressing waking up and seeing this administration look worse and worse every day. Earlier today it was the whole NASA scrapping and climate crap and now he's going to royally screw education and I would not be surprised if this idiot tries to completely gut it in favor of private schools. The next four years are going to be so messy. I hope the people who were too fucking lazy to vote are happy with themselves at the choice they made and I wonder how Trump voters are going to be to reacting in the next four years after he cripples their households even more, guts their jobs, scraps education, and fucks the planet up.
It is hard to even muster up any optimism at this point. For the giant providers, I think the most likely thing is they just slow everything down accross the board, and then ask companies to pay them for faster service to their customers. Non-video websites might be able to do without paying for the faster access, but all video streaming might be. I don't know how expensive they'll make it.
FCC already had to stop Comcast from blocking P2P technology, and AT&T from blocking Skype, Google Voice, and Facetime. So at the very least there will be a return to that sort of thing.
I don't know if any of the big providers will be brave enough to stop all streaming services outside the ones they approve, but I'm sure smaller providers in not very competitive markets will surely try at some point.
That is really bad for the republicans.
