Excited for Hillary to be blamed, again, for someone else's mistakes.

No experience, BUT, pretty insane.
Just wanted to say...I'm so dang proud of my country. I was banned for a couple weeks (well it ended like a week ago but i didnt post) so I missed the election, but I've been walking on clouds ever since. First time in my life I've been so into politics.

Yeah...
When a candidate throws a hissy fit in the forest, but they only got .3% of the vote, is it actually news?
No experience, BUT, pretty insane.
Half of me looks at those states listed and wonders if she's buying into the "Trump won by hax" conspiracy theories and, in her heart of hearts, knows Trump is worse than Clinton and is taking a political step Clinton can't.She isn't going to scrounge up her 5% from this.
Fixed that for you.Trump is going to go to war with unions.
As typical, you are preoccupied with labels rather than actual policy and problems.Good thing we're not a socialist country.
Fair enough. I think one of the major things the Obama team did was announce a slew of economic positions at once in late Nov/early Dec? Because the world was falling down over their ears.Actually, I think he's got more positions filled than Obama did at this time.

The other half is going "lol Stein."
I understand that it would allow ISPs like Comcast to slow down or otherwise stop people from visiting certain sites, but realistically, what sites will be affected by that?
Betsy Devos is an insane choice if you know her history in regards to education. My mother who is a teacher in Michigan is completely despondent over this choice.
This is going to get worse.
If Trump wins in 2020 I don't see the Republican party viable in 2024. The world will likely literally be on fire by then and the demographic changes will be too strong.
Obama's team did actual vetting, which takes time, even if they started months before the election. Trump is just randomly meeting with people, thinking about them for five days, and making decisions.Fair enough. Not having any knowledge of the MIchigan public school system, will you share what are we looking forward to?
Are we looking at a "no child left behind" issue or an " 'unpaid workers' from Africa" textbook thing?
She's all about school choice, vouchers, charter schools, etc. Public schools are the enemy. Not having any knowledge of the MIchigan public school system, will you share what are we looking forward to?

Fixed.
Because let's be honest, that's the whole point behind Charter Schools.
Its always about busting the unions. Always.
With two questions:How is Trump choosing these people? He's not even going for qualified. He is literaly scraping from beneath the bottom of the barrel at this point.
At least you have your guns.
I voted for Hillary.
With two questions:
1. Did you support me in some significant fashion?
2. Is there a certain sector of government you particularly enjoy trying to dismantle or regress?
Really depressing waking up and seeing this administration look worse and worse every day. Earlier today it was the whole NASA scrapping and climate crap and now he's going to royally screw education and I would not be surprised if this idiot tries to completely gut it in favor of private schools. The next four years are going to be so messy. I hope the people who were too fucking lazy to vote are happy with themselves at the choice they made and I wonder how Trump voters are going to be to reacting in the next four years after he cripples their households even more, guts their jobs, scraps education, and fucks the planet up.
Could someone who is knowledgeable about this subject please answer some questions I have?
Assuming that efforts to stop Net Neutrality in the US from going away fail, what will realistically happen? Everybody keeps saying RIP Internet but I would like some more insight into this.
I understand that it would allow ISPs like Comcast to slow down or otherwise stop people from visiting certain sites, but realistically, what sites will be affected by that? Youtube, Netflix, definitely. But what about lower-end sites like Deviantart, Fanfiction.net, Pixiv and others that are mostly just pictures and text? Would ISPs outright block those just because?
I live in Canada, so this won't specifically affect how I access the internet, but I'm concerned about many content creators living in the US who will be severely limited or even crippled by this. Jim Sterling, Nostalgia Critic, AVGN, Thousands of Patreon users, etc.
It's why I feel like Net Neutrality going away is still unlikely even with the latest FCC appointments. It's in more danger than before, yes, but that won't stop people from fighting. Which leads me to my next question.
How much time would they have to get rid of it, and subsequently how much time would we have to fight for it? They can't so much as kill it at the drop of a hat without warning can they? I say this because the last time this was an issue I remember people fighting. People were all over it. I'm pretty sure companies like Netflix and Google even stepped in at some point.
I don't expect the Internet to just outright give up.
2018/2020 thing that DKE found:
Romney won GA-6 by 23.3%
Trump won GA-6 by 1.5%
True, that's probably a main goal of a lot of charter school proponents.Fixed.
Because let's be honest, that's the whole point behind Charter Schools.
Its always about busting the unions. Always.
Yep this is why I've been a wreck the past 2 weeks. Logically I don't see any hope. And. In less than 2 months everything is going to hell. And at least as a minority goodbye to my civil rights.Really depressing waking up and seeing this administration look worse and worse every day. Earlier today it was the whole NASA scrapping and climate crap and now he's going to royally screw education and I would not be surprised if this idiot tries to completely gut it in favor of private schools. It is hard to even muster up any optimism at this point. The country and the entire world are going to be irreparably damaged over the course of the next four years and if Republican's keep pushing their shitty voter suppression they can lock down the country in their favor. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some sort of a civil uprising if that happens and the results of any kind of war would be devastating.
Somebody found something interesting:

Um....what?
Look, Im as progressive as anybody, okay? But people in the heartland thought the Democratic Party cared more about where someone else went to the restroom than whether they had a good-paying job, he complained. Stronger together doesnt get anyone a job. [...]
If it werent for the [auto] bailout, theyd all be out of jobs! Its mind boggling. Maybe Hillary just didnt talk about it enough.
A lot of people told me, I just want a change. Id say, Hes not going to bring your job back. But a lot of Democrats, lifelong Democrats, would reply, I just want change so much, Getswicki recalled.
Add to all that, we lost North Carolina by 5% and Georgia by almost 6%. And that was running against Trump. Only if we swing Texas (38) does this makes sense. But we lost Texas by 9%, when I had hoped wed pull to within 5% based on Trumps anti-immigrant rhetoric.
In contrast, the margin of victory in each of MN, WI, MI and PA was under 2%. Why does it make sense to put your hopes in states you lost by 5-10%, and give up on states that you lost by 2% and have won consistently for decades. What level of pique requires that kind of thinking?
It has begun.
