What's so brilliant about what D'Antoni has done here to be honest?

If the Knicks go out with a wimper and can't execute, you have to find a coach who can make this team work. The whole "7 seconds or less" thing is a vestige of the past now with Melo working his isolation game.

D'Antoni has two games to prove himself. Getting to .500 with Amar'e and Melo doesn't impress me. I'm jealous of what the Bulls got with Thibodeau :(

I think Melo played great toward the end. He gave spot on passes out of double teams and didn't force the issue. If Amare or Billups was out on the court, they probably would have won.

Knicks fans should be encouraged that Melo was making good unselfish decisions at the end yet he still hit some big shots.

I think that is Melo's problem. He is too unselfish and his team pays the price for it. He had several opportunities to lead and just didn't want to.

He was getting double teamed in the last few minutes. What do you do in situations like this? Pass it to the open man.

Fellow Knick fans, no need for such anger!

We all knew that this team wouldn't be competing for a championship this season... Watching that performance made me hopeful for the future.

That was one of the best post-season performances I've ever seen.

You're fucking dumb and prove it over and over. How could melo have gotten a shot off on that last knicks set? Pierce is allowed to hold him when he is cutting and the celtics double hard as soon as melo got the ball.

Wade would split the double. Lebron would find the guy who can make the shot. Kobe would have shot over them. Melo passed it to Jeffries with one of the best defenders of all time breathing down his neck.

Melo's just not smart enough to be a winner.

It's on Dantoni though

why is Jared even in the game?

Because he made the shot before that possession?

All Jeffries had to do was make an open layup. You can't blame D'antoni there. He didn't know Jeffries was such a big pussy that he would look to pass the ball when he is directly underneath the basket.

Melo was playing with the Smush Parker All Star Team there at the end and still damn near had the game. impressive

Did you watch the game? Melo was getting mugged in the 4th and doubled anytime he touched the ball. He made the only play that was available to him in these situations which was to pass. Guys have to be able to make an open shot or make one move when guys are out of position because they are focusing on melo.

It was Melo vs. the Celtics tonight, and people are posting "LOL Knicks"? The reaction should be "LOL Celtics" after seeing the last 2 games.

I disagree- I don't blame Melo one bit. He passed to a wide open guy underneath the hoop.

Jeffries is a professional NBA player being asked to be on the floor at the end of a ballgame. Melo made a pass to a wide open guy underneath the hoop. From Brendan Haywood to Nick Collison, a big man that wide open should go up for a shot. Jeffries is an abortion of a basketball player so he decides to pass when he's 1.5 feet from the rim.

Hey.

It's ok to write in paragraphs.

Each sentence doesn't need a line break.

So everyone but Dantoni knows that Jared is an offensively challenged pussy?by some miracle Jeffries actually manages to convert a wide open layup and he still manages to get burned for it in the end.I can't even blame him for fucking it up, there's no way he should ever be out in that situation.

2-0 is 2-0 who really gives a shit in the end how you get there. It's not like the Knicks are a lock to win Game 3 or anything just because the Celtics haven't blown them out of the water, the C's are in great shape.

What are you talking about? He got hit with hard double teams as soon as he touched the ball the final two minutes. He probably would have gotten turnovers trying to dribble out of those. He gave us players WIDE OPEN shots from his pass outs from the double teams. They gotta make those shots.

...of course I watched the game. They still had enough time to try and pass the ball around more and grab a foul. That might have something to do with not having Chauncey in as well, none of those guys looked like they knew how to set anything up of that nature.

Let the baby have their bottles. Billups may be back Friday and the same with STAT.

... read his post aloud, charsace.

then ask yourself "Is he trolling"? The answer is yes. Why you letting him bother you? Just save your hate for Jeffries and get ready for game 3.

No, scoring on like 40% shooting and turning the ball over as many times as you get an assist when you are point guard makes it overrated.

Dude pipe down until Rose or Rondo actually lose a game.
