Thanks! Seems like they were able to apply the extra percent off to my order.
 
I email BB as well and they gave they me the credit for xenoblade chronicles se and project guard. I was surprised to actually get it.

That's not the lowest price, FrsDvl just managed to get it by accident. Try using the image to price match your order and if that doesn't work, try telling the CSR that the price in the image is the lowest price and your order didn't get automatically adjusted.

Spoke to Best Buy customer service and they were able to add the 30% off discount to my Last Guardian PS4 pre-order.

And thanks to the promo code that I got (thanks again ohlawd), the price before tax is now 41.99. It's no 39.99 like my old PS3 pre-order, but I'll live with it!

I'll need to call BB tomorrow about my FS Xenoblade X order.
I forgot, yet again, that that order number is tied to a now defunct credit card.
 
I was able to get Amazon to add 4 more games to my order. First CSR was able to do it with none of the problems that everyone else has been having. Only the 30% discount was applied, so I ended up getting rid of 3 of the 4 I added. Dark Souls III somehow has an incorrect applied price, even though the display price is $79.99, after I got rid of the other 3. It seems like he made it equal to what the 30% discount would be before tax, on the after tax amount, so I actually seem to have got a 38% discount on Dark Souls III. Good enough for me, and I will not mess with this order anymore.

I have no idea what price to put down for each game in my spreadsheet, though...

A good 4-5 minutes. I got an order in. There were three when i ordered, then 1, then 4, then 1 and OSS now.

And here I was worried about not getting the FE Fates SE here....

also panicked when I saw SE mentioned. Although hopefully this means they'll start charging and shipping tomorrow...

Yup. Because they system is all automated, even accidental changes in price will cause anyone with a pre-order to get that low price. It's why it's always good to order as much as possible and delete closer to launch for games for ones you no longer want. Almost every single game in my order dropped to $64-$69 as well, and with the price of games at $79.99, almost every major release for next year I'll end up getting at $45-$52 shipped (if I keep them, I deleted Battlefront few days before launch etc.)

Am I weird for only preordering the games that I absolutely need to have and waiting for the rest that I'm mildly intrested in to go even cheaper?

Basically even at 30% off an $80 game is still $56 before tax which is still quite a bit.

Well with Amazon it's better to just preorder and cancel later but yea, I'm the same way.

Yeah, I mostly preorder Nintendo titles because I know they'll probably never go down.
 
Update from my Bestbuy.ca shipping snafu where my new address didn't save, and they sent it to an old one 2 hours away.

GAF was right, they pretty much told me to eat a dick.
 
Now that I was finally able to get the XCX SE, i'm debating if i should keep my regular copy preorder with Amazon since it's 30% off, and just sell it, or just cancel it...

I cancel closer to release like many others. The reason I make big orders during E3 sales is to account for the games I mildly like but don't know much about. If I get more interested as news of the game surfaces then I'm likely to keep the order but the opposite is true as well. Amazon makes it easy to cancel orders.
 
Anyone know the cheapest place I can buy the Xenoblade Chronicles X guide?

Edit: Ah screw it. #yolo, and this game is gonna be the GOAT. Though I have seriously been spending too much money on games. I'll have to cancel something to put my mind at ease tomorrow.
