The Walking Dead #153

Oh yes. Oh yes.
Eugene keeps talking to the stranger, Rick sends out Michonne and Aaron to find Negan's ass. And oh my, Negan is back! "Oh boo hoo kid, EVERYBODY's mom is dead. Stop being a pussy" lol. And I fully expected him killing the kid. Negan gonna fuck it up again.

Black Panther #1

Good first issue. It's mostly build up, but I like it.

Old Man Logan #4

Still enjoyable.

Vision #6

This book is crazy good. So good. I never expected to be so stoked about a Vision book.

Need to sit down and look through the announcements when I get home tonight. From a quick glance though, I am very excited for the new books by Remender and Fletcher. Very excited for the Prince of Cats reprint too. I have very limited experience with Wimberly but that online comic he did talking about his experience doing skin tones for Marvel was excellent.

Plus the Fix is out today so it's a good day for Image!

The Fix is basically Superior Foes but with more lengthy conversations about swallowing your own come, and, if that's not high praise to you, I don't know what the fuck

None of those books have come out yet?

Much of it has but there was still a list of like 10-12 books that had not.

EDIT: Found the list (compiled by someone else)

Restoration (Willingham)
Great Beyond (Spender)
Paradigms (Spencer)
Cerulean (Spencer)
A.D. (Snyder/Lemire)
Black Road (Wood)
Heaven (Robinson)
Ludocrats (Gillen)
Revengeance (Cooke)
Sunset Park (Wimberly)
Slave Punk (Wimberly)
Crosswind (Simone)
The One % (Andrews)
Heartless (Ellis)
Hadrian's Wall (Higgins)
Snot Girl (O'Malley)
Throwaways (Kittredge)

Black Road and The One % are finally coming out though.

Superman 51 was a good time, so I'm hopeful for Superleague.

just saw a spoiler for it, already confirms what I assumed, seems like it will be a must have story. Sometimes I hate being a trade waiter >_>.

I'm going to miss new 52 Superman. I liked him and I thought Pc Superman's story was good and done. Oh well.

Was there suppose to be something for rebirth at Emerald City this week or am I crazy.

There is.

And I'm still not sold that this'll be the last we see of
New 52 Superman. Would hardly be the first fatal condition fakeout in comics.

So basically, Nick Spencer can't juggle books like Remender

AD is coming in November

I really wish I had the time to go through all these announcements before work. It's going to be a long 10 and a half hours tonight. :(

What about the regular folks?

Because the stuff Sanders wants is standard in middle european countries like germany or french.

They call him that because he calls himself that.

That's pretty much it. If he got to the General, that's when you'd see the knives come out. Right now the GOP is keeping away from him, they want him to win the Primary.

Kipp

but I am taking tiny steps forward
Oh hey, so somebody want to give me the rundown on how the new Frank Miller Batman Master Race thing is being received? Is it as much of a spectacularly offensive mess as everyone has predicted? Or is it a boring, sterile Batman comic?

Black Panther was insanely popular at my store.
They sold out what they had and already sold through 1/2 of their next shipment by the time I got there, which was 15 minutes after opening.

But why? Thats stupid. Does he really just want to eager the ten americans who like socialism? He is clearly a social democrat which would make everything way easier for him and would open him up to the middle.

Gail Simone posted on twitter the other day that she had seen lovely pages from Crosswind. Guess that is coming soon too.

Cool that is the one that interests me the most.

Hadrian's Wall would have been that book if it were actually about the real Hadrian's Wall.

Paste has an interview up with Remender and Opena about Seven to Eternity - http://www.pastemagazine.com/articl...rick-remender-jerome-opena-pit-men-again.html

There's a bunch of colored pages in the interview, but here are a couple that jumped out at me.

Man that latest issue of Walking Dead is so great. How people say they got tired of this and Invincible I will never understand. The stories are so much better for having the characters and their relationships cook for so long.

This. Walking Dead and Invincible have been long-running favorites of mine. They're almost beyond reproach in my eyes.
