COMICS! |OT| April 2016. I Think You're Fearless

Can't remember a time I've ever been burnt out on a specific movie or genre.

I can see it being a problem if you watch a lot of films or are just heavily invested in film in general. I watch maybe a dozen films a year and most if not all of them are franchises of some sort.

Not sure why anyone would think it was a middle finger. BB-8 wouldn't do something like that in the first place. He'd make a snarky sound if anything.

They're not going to have the kid-appeal character give the finger in a family movie, in fairness.

J and Clayface switched one more time after Batman passed out after he defeated Basil at the Lazarus Pit.
There were some hint in that direction with the Joker/Clayface Switcheroo that was pulled of earlier and the antidote.
Made me so excited for Arkham Knight and in the end we got that pile of shit that was AK.

I hope the HD Remaster still come, would love to play Asylum and City again.

I think the direction they went with AK's story was great. It's just that the actual game structure is shitty. The story is perfectly fine, minus the complete final ending.

More details about Dark Horse's Moebius collection. Unfortunately it doesn't seem as planned out as Fantagraphics' various collections.

Simon says that Dark Horse’s starting lineup of Moebius books was presented to them by the Giraud family as the “ideal starting lineup." “We’re launching with The World of Edena, The Art of Edena, and Inside Moebius Parts 1, 2, and 3—all hardcovers in the same 8.375" x 10.875" format—and a project in a larger format, The Art of Moebius, will follow,” says Simon. “The tricky part will be figuring out where to go next. There is certainly a wealth of material, and we’re looking at more art books, books in odd formats, and collections of interviews with the storytelling master as we build the line, in addition to more deluxe hardcovers that will serve as definitive English-language editions of Mr. Giraud’s graphic novels, short story collections, and illustration retrospectives.”

Pete Carroll Owns Me
This promo art was going around on Twitter yesterday fur Lake of Fire, but I haven't seen anything to the degree of say Seven to Eternity

Thanks. It looks pretty decent but I'd like to see a little more.

Wait why would you need to see art for a 2016 Chaykin book. Literally all his art looks identical now. Just open up a random Satellite Sam and pretend it's a preview.

Ok cool. The name is vaguely familiar but I really don't know anything about Chaykin.

My only problem with TFA was just how close it was to ANH. I easily guessed what was gonna happen once the Death Planet was introduced. Other than that I don't feel the urge to own and watch TFA again. I feel like what I want out of Star Wars nowadays is less of a fabled story and more of an anthology. Which is why Rogue One, for me, is bringing the real heat.

The Arkham Knight turning out to be Jason was really my only major complaint with the game. Otherwise I love virtually everything about it, even the Bat-tank.

I guess I hated all the Riddler "bonus" stuff, too, but I've never liked that stuff. It was just especially aggravating in AK because you couldn't get the "true" ending without completing all of it.

I don't get these arguments. Adventure stories have had the same plot since friggin Flash Gordon serials. People get so caught up in the branches when its all the same fuckin tree. Look at the leaves! THEY'RE SO FUNNY.

I want a Star Wars movie that explores different universes and characters not tied to jedis or skywalkers. You know, everyday peeps.

Who doesn't? Why does one of them have to be cut down? They're both amazing. Wind Through The Keyhole is just as brilliant as Drawing of the Three or Dark Tower.

I definitely see the similarities. That doesn't ruin anything for me, thankfully. I didn't plan on buying the movie, to be honest. I knew my dad was going to pick it up.

He came home with the DVD. I just stared at him and shook my head. I said, "Dad, go back to the store, return this and pick up the damn Blu. It includes a DVD, digital copy, bluray and a bonus features disc." Thankfully he listened.

That's why I finished with a 92% completion. I wasn't about to hunt for those damn Riddler trophies.

In Arkham Knight I turned Azrael into a crazed religious lunatic.

No redemption for you buddy.
Another plotline of City they fucked over. Basicly every tease for Knight turned to shit.

Also the great side quest were gone, the only really great was the one with Professor Pyg.

I guessed who the Arkham Knight was from the first trailer he was in. It was so, so obvious.

I had a fun time with The Force Awakens. Most of that was watching with friends I had not seen for months in a packed cinema, I don't think I can judge it fairly when it was such a fun day overall. I don't know if I'll watch it again. Maybe if it came back to cinemas, not really one for movies at home.

I should probably buy the Blu-Ray considering I own the other six. For science.

Actually, it looks good, but
There’s a new drug hitting the streets. One that has the ability to create unstable super soldiers.

Mooney's Spider-Gwen 2099 looks good to me. Fits right in with that series if she will appear in it. That book is great btw.
