Well Sony is known for ripping the customer base off whenever they get the chance, their prices are often ridiculous.
Nintendo makes affordable products, the 3ds was too expensive but they lowered that really quick

% guarantee the price point of the PS5 Pro mid-gen refresh has no effect whatsoever on Nintendo's pricing of the Switch successor. It would've already been determined many months/ year + ago. Consoles take years to plan and develop.
