Digital Foundry: Silent Hill f - PC Review + Optimised Settings - OK, But Needs Improvement

No wonder it's lightweight compared to some other UE5 games. Game has simple objects and poor textures.

It looks good enough and lumen elevates everything but it's not on par with other recently released UE5 games.
it was clearly targeting solid performance on consoles and largely achieved this. I don't know what console players expect at this point.

I think that was a good decision - solid 60fps and 1080p on PS5 is quite great for a UE5 game.

There are still tons of issues to solve: PSSR on PS5 Pro, no off option for film grain/CA etc., poor shader precompile on pc, uneven framepacing above 60fps and some more...

even on PC I just frame-locked it at 60 and turned on V-Sync. it's not bad on PC but clearly a straightforward console port. The stuttering is annoying though, I actually get less stutter with TSR over DLSS.

Guys, I think I found solution to get rid of camera stutter above 60fps. Just lock the game to 100/120fps and same refresh rate.

100fps lock (driver) + vsync (driver) + 100Hz RR and game is very smooth and responsive:
