It's got very little of true platform exclusives, compared to previous gen, especially pre-PS3 era, and such trend really accelerated this gen.. so I find that I don't turn my PS5 on often at all. In fact, I haven't turned it on like half a year already.
As per price and value... Price increases on both hardware and PSN subscription - it's a big negative on the value proposition vs PC (even though PC also has it's own issues with inflated GPU prices, so I guess it evens out). But compared to the previous gen, it's definitely the worst.
However, gaming in general, I don't particularly think it's great but calling it the worst would be going little too far. There are always some games worth playing, but we rarely see the "generation defining" type of innovation and achievements in gaming these days anyhow.
If you can only afford a single console, and somehow cannot, or refuse to play a game on a PC - I guess it's still the best platform to be on - but that's really not saying much, given there's no competition in stand-alone console market.
