Trailer looks great. I can confirm that as someone who saw the comic-con trailer, this is definitely not it, although there was lots of overlap. The one we get later in the weekend should be that one, I guess. Looks awesome though!
Weird synopsis of the red button mini episode 'The Night of the Doctor':
The 50th Anniversary features Matt Smith, David Tennant and a mysterious incarnation played by John Hurt. Only one appears in this mini episode, The Night Of The Doctor. But which?
Oh it came out yesterday but think it's not been linked here - clip of the Brian Cox thing for further fanfiction bait. Brian/Matt in TARDIS again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVJctwjlZvs

So if John Hurt interacts with Rose and is really an incarnation between Eighth and Ninth, would that mean that the Ninth Doctor already knew Rose when he met her in the first episode of the revival?

I think the cloud ones were better than I thought at the time - but just a bit dark and I think the lightning strikes (particularly the noise) that were what let it down... if you were expecting something similar to the ones we'd had since 2005.

Someone posted this little tid bit of information.
Saturday's Daily Telegraph has a feature on The Day of the Doctor in its colour magazine (starting on page 44). Quite a few spoilery details:
- a key scene features both 10 and 11's TARDISes landing side by side in a simple building 'in the middle of a strange desert - out of time, out of place' according to Michael Pickwoad (direct quote in the feature). The building has a vaulted wooden frame, walls of wattle and plank and a floor of dirt and twigs punctuated by gold glitter. (This is the set featured in the BBC trailer, with the Hurt Doctor).
- At the other end of the building is a device topped with a red jewel, which sits at chest height on top of a metallic plinth, which is decorated with burnished silver and gold. As the actors block the scene, their hands keep reaching as if to press down on the jewel. [It also looks to me like the prop resembles a futuristic version of the Sword in the Stone].
- The 3D processing will emphasise the importance of the red jewel prop.
- Dialogue from 11 to the Hurt Doctor: "You were the Doctor on the day it wasn't possible to get it right."
- The three Doctors gather around the jewel and it seems that pressing it down would have terrible consequences.
- Dialogue from 10: "What we do today, we do not out of fear or hatred, but because there is no other way."
- The photos also show Billie Piper and Jenna Coleman in costume on this set, so they may be present in the scene.
I havent bought the Telegraph so I cant confirm if this is real, but sounds genuine.

Based on Moffatt's recent quotes I'm starting to think that HurtDoc might be
A very aged version of McGann's Doctor who's actually been fighting in the Time War for thousands of years. The Time War is a lot longer than we know, which is why the Doctor ran out of options.
I realise at the top of the page I said I'd stop theorizing. Ah, fuck it.

This theory gets floated around a lot and never makes much sense to me.
Firstly, some Doctors are around for hundreds of years and never seem to age (example, 11 in Series 6). Obviously, the Doctor must've gone from young boy to Hartnell, but there's not really any evidence to suggest that he would age like that.
Secondly, Moffat's talked extensively about
Hurt being a one-off Doctor that we knew nothing about, which wouldn't really line up with him just being an old McGann.

Also the TARDIS at the beginning of the Trailer is probably John Hurt's, as the footsteps leading away from them are not the soles of Matt Smith's Boots, or the Soles of Tennant's Converse (I would know, as I own a pair)
