All those pictures with people with their hands sticking out makes me think of Geoff Peterson from Craig Ferguson. Still Hoping for Craig to become a villain on Doctor Who. Matt Smith wants it to happen.

It will happen somehow. Matt Smith likes him enough, and Craigy Ferg is a HUGE Doctor Who nerd. And he has done more promotion for the show than any other American talk show host.

Craig Ferguson companion = me printing mint to pay everyone working on the show personally.

Companion, no. Villain? Possibly. But putting Craigy Ferg as a guest companion, much like Craig in "The Lodger" could be gold. No, make that WILL BE.

He already played the "villain" role quite well on The Drew Carey Show.

I actually thought the Rory and Amy we saw in the store are the same ones he traveled with this season, the ones who witnessed the death at Lake Silencio and were the ones he left at the house with the car.

But then I thought Closing Time happened AFTER the death of the Doctor.

Now I'm being told the newspapers said it's the day BEFORE the death.

So I'm confused and I hope we get a lot of answers on Saturday.

The only problem with that is the Petrichor scene, because that sign and tag line doesn't make sense if that's the case.

Could be timey wimey, could be a slip up like Rory's badge last season.

Doctor Who Confidential is getting axed. Christmas episode will probably be the last one.
The fuck!?

:(

I love watching that.

EDIT:

That is easily the most terrifying thing I've seen in a long while.

Reminds me of a flashback on LOST where the date on a newspaper in the airport was two days later (and the wrong day of the week) from when the plane actually took off. I think I remember a bunch of people reading into it when it was actually just a continuity error.

I could see the production staff reading the script and all the references to the Doctor dying "tomorrow," and thinking they're being super elaborate by placing that date on a newspaper. But this is Doctor Who, so you never know.

Really not cool that BBC axed Confidential. I loved that show, despite its redundancies.

And is it really ending in Christmas? I'm reading on Saturday.

He's already been a villain on Red Dwarf!

I hope so. We'll know in a few days...maybe.

People are taking the "Tomorrow is the day I die" thing too literally. It is tomorrow for the Doctor, regardless of whether he travels into the future or the past.
Think of it as if the Doctor is wearing a watch. Wherever he goes, be it the past or future, that watch will always go forwards at the same speed, that is the Doctor's timeline. I don't remember if we are given a solid date when Closing Time takes place, but the time where Craig lives can be after the time where the Doctor got shot but still be tomorrow for the Doctor because in his personal timeline he has gotten to the same age he was when he got shot.

That's what I was saying, but again the day he was spending with Craig was, according to the newspaper, literally the day before he died at Lake Silencio according to the Tesselecta's files.

Exactly. The day he's killed is his birthday 200 years later, and his birthday travels with him.

Last-minute crazy prediction time!

1. THE DOCTOR DIES!
2. The Christmas special stars Matt Smith but takes place during those "missing" 200 years
3. Doctor River Song takes control of the TARDIS for the 2012 season
4. The Doctor makes his triumphant return in time for the 50th anniversary in November 2013, River Song gets her own spin-off (goodbye Confidential)

I know it's all wrong, but whatevz. Finale day madness and all that.

I really don't know how they cut confidential for cost cutting reasons. Any show they replace it with has to cost more money to make don't you think?

Yeah. I imagine it must be a relatively inexpensive show to produce.

Who's ready for tonight?

I expect that faces will melt.

I'm scared. I just want all of this bullshit sorted out. But in 45 minutes? Is that possible? I don't want this River/Silence/eye patch bullshit carrying on next year.

Even worse, they resolve it terribly.

I honestly wouldn't care. I realised I had enough when my mum called me after A Good Man... and it took me 30 minutes to explain everything to her. Seriously, this is enough now!

I must be one of the few peoplw that have really enjoyed the River Song arc.. Loved Day of the Moon, Lets Kill Hitler etc.

I personally hope it continues into next season but with more emphasis on one shot episodes.

I think I've enjoyed this season more than last season.

Episode just ended. It was great. They made an awesome buildup for the next season, now that will be insane. Cant wait.

Yes I am satisfied with that. The resolution was the one I didn't guess, and the broken-timeline was hilarious!

So happy to see
Dickens
again, just wish they'd been able to fit
Canton Everett III
in.
