will totally Facebook friend you! *giggle* *LOL*
Smith's signature outfit is *U-hanging album t shirt* + blazer + small black jeans. Wears it 24/7 when not on the job, apparently.

Bowler hats are cool.

Was looking back at Halloween pics from 08 when I went as the 10th Doctor. I notice that I have gained quite a bit of weight since then. Urgh.

I need to get out and hunt down an 11th Doctor costume for this year, but my hair is much too short. I could easily pull off a 9th Doctor look this year though. Although my wife says I should go as Rory. If I do, I want to get a shirt made like he wore to his stag party.

You know what's fun?

Going back and watching the library two-parter now.

As I said earlier, watching it for the first time after watching season 5/6 is an amazing experience. Great episodes.
So I just did this. Very interesting seeing it from the other side, indeed. One problem is added, though. At the time, we didn't know much about River as a person. With everything we've seen of her since, though, I've go to think that being given eternal idyllic computer life with that group and a few fake children will be more like a hell to her.

That's what I was thinking too. It's not really the way I think she'd want to go out.

Rewatching the Library episodes seems like the worst idea ever because that would only remind me of the time where River was still kind of interesting.

Curse of the Fatal Death is great.

I agree with this, but it is incredibly silly, being a parody of the hokiness of Classic Who. I've had at least one friend who didn't like it because of how over the top it is.

I think you should go full Centurion.

Bane? Get them on board, I'll call it in.
How about companion Sean Bean? The bad news is they'll have to kill him.

I kind of hope the next companion is an alien, or at least an Earthling from the distant past or future. No present day.

It's probably all going to coincide with the 50th Anniversary meaning a brand new Doctor for the 50th Anniversary.

Seems kind of doubtful since we're only getting half a season in 2012. Figure Smith has 12/13 episodes left. That would mean they'd have to start airing a lot sooner than people are expecting. Either that or we get a regeneration DURING the 50th anniversary.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking-the 50th Anniversary will most likely be the transition between 11 and 12.

I'm worried about the next 'Doctor'. I think Moffat will go when Smith goes and then the people who look the most likely to take over. . .well, they could do something that might upset the apple cart.

you might be right. Moffett keeps saying that he's exhausted...if Matt goes, and another Doctor comes on for presumably another 3 years-that's 4 more years ahead presumably for Moffet and I'm not sure that he can keep going that long.

I thought that too, but that is harder to cobble together. But if I did, I would ask people questions then set off an explosion. Then ask if they want me to repeat it.

I think he was probably referring to what he'll do after the next season of Doctor Who regardless of whether or not he re-ups. It seems extremely unlikely this sort of thing would be dropped so casually.

And especially after the last "zomg everyone's leaving because they said X on talk show Y!" thing.

I'm hoping that's it as well. Either way, I think the plan is to stretch out his run to the 50th anniversary.

Recently started the show on Netflix Instant, just got to s2. Hearing that the show is actually widescreen on the DVDs is driving me crazy, I might just fill up my DVD queue instead lol.

It took me a while to get into it. Most of the time I really enjoy the writing (definitely going to be picking up that book of s1 shooting scripts at some point) but the production turned me off more often than not. Definitely getting better in s2 now.

The stream goes widescreen at some point.

Once they got to series 5 (and some of the Tennant specials) and switched to shooting in HD, the production values shot WAY up.

Figured I'd share this...Anyhow, went out to a friend's birthday party dressed as the 11th Doctor (Series 6)...It wasn't until after I saw the pics how freakin country I look and non-doctor like.

Of course, the hat is mostly what makes it country looking, but did he wear black jeans or slacks (I know the pants were skinny/slim but that ain't happening for me). Also, probably going to find a better shirt with subtle blue lines....but I suppose thats what I get for finding everything at a thriftshop (minus the pants).

Oh, and I think I am going to make a few coat modifications as well so it'll be better formed and the collar/neck piece won't be everywhere.

Its missing the part where 11 then walks around doing a Jack Sparrow Walking impression while going "ice cream, ice cream, something about ice cream....ah ha! I have a plan!"

This was WAY funnier than the pic. 10 was plenty silly. Just not manic like 11.

I got another coworker into the show. He started watching Season 5 on demand and he came into work raving about it. That always makes me feel good. Another has joined our ranks.

America? Yes??

I picked this up at a Sunrise Records in Canada but it's from the UK. It has the hasbro.co.uk address on it. I keep hearing there are only 5000 made but I haven't seen that confirmed anywhere.
