I cannot watch the game in the client: there is either no sound, or noisy sound, or chinese voices.

LiQuid!

I proudly and openly admit to wishing death upon the mothers of people I don't like
Slept for 3 hours and only ONE game has transpired.

Going back to bed. See you all for game 3.

Fun fact: FATA and I went to the same high school. I never got to see him though as we're not that close in age. We do have some common friends on Facebook for some reason though.

seems better for 5 manning, you just go in and rely on kraken shell to get in the middle of the fight, people can't control/kill you anyway
also greaves OP

who started this trend of mek tide? why did blink fall off from 1st big item and sometimes not even bought?

Don't need a blink when you are running down lanes and forcing the enemy to engage into you or lose all their buildings. Which is really what you should be doing when ravage is up.

Very few lineups have the kind of long range damage output needed to threaten a tide without putting themselves at risk for a ravage, so you just run at them and they either back off or get ravaged and die. Mek and shivas do way more for your teamfight than a blink does.

It's similar to why mek is a better first item than blink on enigma. You get position for your ult by forcing the enemy to engage you top stop the push. If they don't fight into you, you just gladly take all their buildings instead.

It's a pretty old build, often times you really do not need the blink right away, or at all. Going mek with max kraken shell and anchor smash lets you stand in the front lines and soak up a lot of enemy damage while still being a huge threat. Forcing the team to commit on you is ultimately what you want as tide, as he is a much stronger counter initiator than an initiator. You are also forcing positioning mistakes and putting pressure on your opponents as opposed to what happens when you are sitting back and waiting for a good opportunity to blink and ravage which puts the pressure on you, making you more likely to make a mistake. Not to mention all the 5 man strats that having an early mek enables.

Seems there will be no more games played before the crowd tonight. Fans have to leave at 10 pm and Ramzes keyboard won't be here in time.

1) China. We've had issues with China at previous events. Some Valve people lobbied to bring it back for Shanghai, feeling that it deserved another chance. That was a mistake. China is an ass, and we won't be working with him again.

In all seriousness, this is quite possibly the biggest failed event in the history of gaming/e-sports.

Yeah... The worst part is that it seems like there's no end to the problems.
Absolutely embarrassing
