I hope this bombs and another studio closes. I'm sorry about the people working there but that's why I feel. Politics have no place in video games. Those dialogs make absolutely no sense in the context of a game. Are this some kind of lectures? This is like being lectured on other subjects like economy, abortion, relegion or any other subject that depends on personal believes. We don't buy games to be lectured.

The whole "best numbers on Steam for an EA game" is a smokescreen when you realize they simply stopped releasing their titles on Steam for years and restarted just recently. (mostly with late ports and games that still required Origin on PC).

This. The game has no EA launcher and is Steamdeck verified from the start. Also runs pretty well on PC from day 1. Impossible to say how that factors in the numbers but it's important to highlight that.

How the flying fuck is a world with Abby in it off limits but Veilguard free game? If platform trolling and platform wars are banned, how the fuck is the blatant Sony shilling allowed so frequently and wantonly?
The entire industry is fucked. I'm on record as wanting a Pro, and wanting certain games on it that most of these "gamers" here, aside from one guy I liked and quoted earlier, wouldn't even think to look out for for PS5 Pro. I want a PS5 Pro because I've had my PS5 for three years. The shit is old, so it's time to get a new one. I prefer a platform that came out the year I bought it, rather than get something that was made four years ago.
I can support something and see the flaws in it. I clearly support Sony. I clearly support something even when they release blatant anti-consumer practices and initiatives against me. Abby was shat on relentlessly.

Spider-Man 2 is the most disappointing game I've played in a long time though. And most of it comes from how shit the writing was. Not just the woke stuff, most of the characters were terribly adapted. Especially compared to the first game. But you can't pretend like we didn't have threads about MJ looking like Mask. MJ and Deaf Girl gameplay are the most criticized parts of the game.

Neither of those games were as heavy handed as Veilguard though. Or at least it's way more in your face when Dragon Age characters started talking like young adults from the West Coast.

I've been misgendered as a child, I'm male but I supposedly looked like a female child, no long hair, just my face I suppose. I was bullied because of that.

Makes you wonder just how much of this shit is still in the pipeline at these studios. This gen is really saving me money and it pays to wait and see before buying anything. Once people all start doing the same, things are gonna get real interesting for these companies.
