Spider-Man 2 has you playing as lame-ass Miles Morales, hooking up two gay dudes to go on a date WHILE VENOM IS ATTACKING THE CITY LIKE A FUCKING ALIEN INVASION, as well as other meaningless shit with Miles, such as music quests (although I like the Wu-Tang reference), playing as a somehow uglier Mary Jane, who has a "gun" that is more powerful than Miles, Peter, and Insomniac Venom, aka Harry O., combined, yet it seems convenient that all of Sony's transgressions, and Sony's contributions to this current state of the video game industry, get swept under the rug.

This site has a policy of no console warring, no platform warring, but that "policy" is blatantly, "flagrantly", ignored and disregarded, in favor of suxking Sony's dick like Sony is giving out free blowjobs by Andie Anderson. They have a litany of shit games that contributed to this shit era of games that most of y'all label "woke" (The Last Of Us Part II, all of Spider-Man 2, the bullshit in Ragnarok, Concord, Aloy's ugly ass, etc) and yet we only act as if Forspoken, Redfall (Star Wars) Outlaws, Concord (but barely), Veilguard, Suicide Squad, Dustborn, and other games are to blame.
How the flying fuck is a world with Abby in it off limits but Veilguard free game? If platform trolling and platform wars are banned, how the fuck is the blatant Sony shilling allowed so frequently and wantonly?
The entire industry is fucked. I'm on record as wanting a Pro, and wanting certain games on it that most of these "gamers" here, aside from one guy I liked and quoted earlier, wouldn't even think to look out for for PS5 Pro. I want a PS5 Pro because I've had my PS5 for three years. The shit is old, so it's time to get a new one. I prefer a platform that came out the year I bought it, rather than get something that was made four years ago.

Actually yes, everyone does and has attacked Sony. Last of Us 2 is gay as shit for no good reason (though it has incredible gameplay) and also got attacked for having trans flags hanging and rainbow crosswalks . And Spiderman 1 and 2 got attacked for having pride shit. And Spiderman 2 is pretty much ass in general anyway, especially when those horribly colored monsters show up.

The character creator was a bit disappointing, every face looked way too manly or dwarven like while the hair options were all too fabulous with not many good options for dudes.

It looks, sounds and feels like a Dragon Age game and so far, with only about 5 hours in, it does feel like BioWare is stepping up its game in general. Thus far, I'd give it a solid 8.5/10 based on presentation and gameplay.

What kills me is that they didn't even put in the effort to make the politics sound more archaic like they should. Non-binary is such a thoroughly modern term that it just feels jarring to hear it in a game that draws inspiration from medieval Europe for its setting. Could you imagine if black characters were referred to as black in game? Imagine Wyll in BG3 being called a black man. Everyone would recoil because it would feel so god damn out of place and anachronistic. The fact that they didn't even attempt to make their agenda at least fit the setting is a damn indictment.

I consider myself a left-leaning progressive/liberal type. I'm normally all for inclusion of minorities in daily life. But this crosses a line even for me, because it is so blatant. In a world filled with dragons and magic, this gender politics feels so out-of-place, and hence, immersion-breaking. And if you want to make the argument that this is a small part of the game that can be ignored - that would be possible if the rest of the game was a banger RPG like Baldur's Gate 3. But it is not.

I even remember missing that a character in Last of Us Part II was trans until I read about the outrage on the internet. It was a couple of lines that I just wasn't paying attention.

Tbf, If there is a brand where people are gonna read codex entries, is probably a bioware game.

The brand attract people interested in a deep lore, those are not games for casuals usually.
