This is so obviously running on the Hunters engine. Wish they would have kept the characters from that game. Don't like the look of the ones in it now.
This is how it went for 3D World and ALBW, too. I fully expect opinions to change for this and Star Fox by launch.
Also, I think I'd prefer if they just made a collection of multiplayer games for 3DS, including this and the Zelda game. It doesn't feel right to pay full price for these, no matter how fun they may look.

Problem is, this game is already getting flack, and if it doesn't sell then why would Nintendo make another Metroid game afterward?
I think it looks adorable.
Also this is real banter, well, real, PG banter.
Thanks.
Paper Jam is next!
In my opinion the strong negative opinions about this game show how much people want a real Metroid.
I think they may have sold me on this new Metroid
Okay that may be true, but sales dictates any new games. Nintendo isn't going to go on Neogaf and go, "HMMM I GUESS THIS DIDN'T SELL BECAUSE DA PEEPS WANT SAMUS IN DA GAME!" The only thing that will help a new singleplayer Metroid's cause is sales of this game.
This is Treehouse's job in the E3 season.
The more I think about it, won't the control scheme be quite similar to GC Prime, with only one main analogue stick to move?Well shit. This actually looks fun.
But calling it Metroid Prime is such an odd choice. Metroid is a series that ONLY has longtime, die-hard fans.
It seems like attaching the Metroid name would deter more people from buying than it would attract on-the-fence gamers.
Now to the crossover we've all been waiting for! Oh yeah!
Looking at the reactions, they have their work cut out for them.
Do we know if Alpha Dream is making Paper Jam? They've never made a proper 3D game before, right? If so, having them make a Paper Mario crossover is a good way to ease them into it, since a lot of the 3D would be pretty simplistic.
I'm hoping too. No SPM shenanigans please. Please be an RPG and not level based.

The only thing the sales of this game will help is a sequel in the same style.
