E3 2015 | Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3

2 questions.

1. When is this coming out?
2. WIll Nintendo give it the retail release it deserves for more exposure?

This looks fucking amazing. Such a wasted opportunity to not just have this developer make F-Zero.
Is not wasted. They're only like 5 people and like working on their own. No pressure, no deadlines. They do love Nintendo.

1. Before the end of 2015.
2. Digital only.

EDIT: Hehe..same poster! :p

Nintendo seriously needs to lock down this developer with an exclusivity deal - they are freaking amazing.

Wow shocked how good the gameplay looks. Shin'en haven't exactly been the best in that area. Also the UI is kind of amateurish, the way the text spins towards the screen when you finish looks so bad. I like that it's pure racing like F-Zero no weapons or other distractions.

If we can't have a new FZero then this will do nicely. Showcase stuff like this on the Digital Event next time please.

You can't blink if you want to win in this game.

Looks like the dev getting 4th place indicates how hard this game is gonna be.

Sucks its digital only, but cool its coming this year. These 5 people should be trusted F-Zero then, since Nintendo is apparently doing nothing with it.

I wish Nintendo would would have touched on this game in the Digital Event. These guys are busting their ass to make something like this for Wii U when so many other devs are turning their back on it. It would have shown so well, too, it looks stunning.

Graphics aside, I think Shin'en's games usually end up being merely good, not great, so I have never jumped on the "give them F-Zero!" bandwagon. But...Nintendo has had stellar results lately partnering with western devs (Next Level, Monster Games), so I think I am actually interested to see what kind of F-Zero game these guys could make if they had some manpower and guidance from Nintendo.

I'm more surprised that we've seen three Rumble games since 2011. I don't know who keeps buying and playing them.
Regarding Ranger, I thought that only the 2nd was decent with Guardians feeling off. I don't know why, but I'd like to see a 4th someday too. Maybe on NX? :p

Rumble games are surprisingly popular.

Pokémon Rumble on WiiWare dominated the Wii Shop charts for years
Pokémon Rumble Blast was the first first-party Nintendo 3DS title to hit 1 million units
