My favorites would be Torn from Heavens(trailer theme, FATE boss theme), One Blood(primal cutscene song? something like that), Fealty(coerthas theme), Fallen Angel(Garuda theme), The Emperor's Wont(one of the empire themes), Penitus(another empire theme), Ultima, Calamity Unbound(coil boss theme). Although there's a bunch more I like.
You didn't get tired from hearing it over and over in T13?
Yeah it doesnt build aggro, it just puts you at the top of the party aggro meter so to speak. So if someone steals aggro and you need an emergency grab, use it, then go back into your combos and flash rotation.
EDIT: All the city themes in ARR and the overworld themes are good. The Fate battle musics as well.

They weren't on par as the other dps in terms of damage output before a couple patches ago and I may have been making them look bad. The only thing that holds them back is they don't have a legit utility buff like other melee classes do, overall they're still pretty good post patch.
Nope, it's my favorite FF vocal theme in a long time.

The ARR soundtrack doesn't have the same version on it that Before Meteor cd does.
That OST came out before SCOB or close to its release I think? So it kind of makes sense it wouldn't have it I guess?

Rise of the White Raven lyrics are about the advent of Dalamud and the Raven himself, that's why they got the cut for Praetorium.

I'm just comming back to the game after a long break (I'm a Paladin, stopped at lvl 50 doing atma's quest, my ilvl is 89 I think).
I used to play on Diabolos, but i'm thinking to start all over again, so I can find a new server...
Any "better" server atm, with active players, good community, with people helping new ppl?

Yes I know and I'm just saying if that guy wanted to buy one version then the Before Metror version is the one to get. They should have given Gaius his own theme instead of the cut version of Darnus.
I'm excited for the next soundtrack there is gonna be so much more great music. In my opinion this game has one of the best overall soundtracks and the new tracks for the new dungeons already found great especially WP HM.

I guess next OST will be for the expansion, with all the new 3.0 stuff and what they didn't release of the 2.3+ stuff? Or 2.2 whichever it was not sure. Or maybe they'll release 2 OSTs, one with all the 2.0 stuff and then a 3.0 one?
Anyway been contemplating resubbing. I was planning to wait until like 1-2weeks before 2.5 but I feel like playing. Seems 2nd coil is clearable relatively easily now too so that'd be nice and maybe I'd make time to try to find a final coil group and grind that down before 3.0.

I could see them putting out a smaller OST at the end of 2.5.

Yes, they are. They are all people from the old Allagan empire, who were frozen in time by Amon in order to survive one of the umbral calamities. Xande is actually the original founder of the whole empire, brought back to life by Amon in order to revitalize the failing empire. It went ok.
You can talk to the Roe guy in Mor Dhona who started the CT quests, he has reports that go over all the story points for both CT and ST in depth.

We've got two different tiers of what I assume is their army gear so it would have been neat to see them expanded on some more.

I guess the disconnect I'm having is how they had super advanced technology and then lost it all in the current timeline. We see remnants but no one really harnesses or develops off of it, AFAIK? Also blame PSN outage for my lore talk.
Maybe they were supposed to be at one time, but their descendants seem to be hyurs.
What about the Garleans? Their technology is pretty advanced, and they have been shown to utilize/build off allagan relics. Eorzea is just really backwater in comparison, most of the people living there wouldn't know what to do with the technology even if they got it. Hell even some of the major technology Eorzea does have, like airships, is stuff stolen from Garleans.
As for why they lost everything, it kinda makes sense I guess? When you got magic earthquakes, diseases, and floods and whatnot as a part of your world history destroying all the things, stuff getting lost suddenly makes sense.

Garlemald is technology's equivalent of "new money".
They've only been messing with recovered Allagan technology for only one generation, and their irresponsibility and irreverence of it caused such endeavors as the Meteor Project -- actuated in zeal by the VIIth Legion Legatus Nael van Darnus, thinking that a "purification" of Eorzea was the only solution.
XIVth Legion Legatus Gaius von Baelsar was the only voice of restraint formally attached to the Garlean Empire, aside from defectors like Cid nan Garlond.
It's hard to say how the Empire will proceed in such a time of turmoil, but the story and my intuition leads me to believe that the new Emperor Varis Zos Galvus will likely use Allagan technology as a means to conquering Eorzea.
Man, all kinds of GW2 duders hiding in here! Yeah, I'll probably start tonight on the PS4 trial whenever everything comes back online. May wind up just going PC depending on how it performs, but SSD space is currenly at a premium on my workstation (which is why I hav held out for a PS4 demo, besides working too much).
