Let's complain about having maintenance cut our static group's raid time short tonight, then complain when other people talk about their own game experiences.
This thread needs 2 threads, 1 for Ultros GAF FC I don't care about, and the other for actual FF14 discussions.
Let's complain about having maintenance cut our static group's raid time short tonight, then complain when other people talk about their own game experiences.
New Title:
The RNG will never be in your favor. Your loot doesn't exist.
Actually more than half the conversation here is about the game. Other half is Ultros GAF FC discussions that don't have anything to do with half of us and that we (or at least I) don't care about. Thus the suggestion for 2 threads. Also I was just responding to Asami.
Posts in this thread generally fall into one of the categories below:
-Asking for and/or giving advice on how to do something in the game.
-Announcing an achievement or failure that happened in the game.
-Comment on what additions/adjustments one would like to be made to the game in a future patch.
-Complain about or praise a change or new feature that was added in a recent patch.
If you're going to start whining about discussions in this thread not concerning you, maybe you should start checking your post history in this thread to see how many of your posts would receive complaints if others had the same viewpoint as you.
The addition of /random to the game has provided the game's community new ways to have fun and build camaraderie that the developers probably did not envision. Just because you dislike or ignore a new feature of the game does not entitle you to shit on others who enjoy a new feature.
-Tia's constant roadmaps for what he will be trying to accomplish during the next 30 seconds of game time.

Really when you get down to it all the problems in this thread can be blamed on warriors.

But Tabris is a paladin.
hey guys lets have a 6 page discussion on how dark knight will swing their sword for auto attacks. I'll go first, I think they'll swing left to right. Discuss
Right to left obviously. Ugh how could you be so dumb?

GAF's better statics
Why swing the sword at all? Bring back Archer style in 1.0 where they had to punch to use their actual weapon.
Drama bomb #2 incoming!
Are you serious? That's the most insane thing I've ever read.
Wait, weren't arrows expendable in 1.0...? Oh God... Oh God.
Archers used to punch to build TP then use their bow.
Also yeah, arrows were finite.

We need a new title since DRGs still aren't relevant. Lots of bitching in here about RNG and dungeon loots.

Quick Nock must have been the most expensive skill ever.
Guys. Let's talk about the plot of FF14.
Quick Nock used to be a 6 hit multi strike iirc.
Before it was nerfed I believe it was one of the highest damage attacks in the game during the 1.18 era.
In a world of magic, dragons, mystery, and intrigue, someone's got to deliver some uniforms.
That wasn't even the most broken thing about Archers, it was Multi-Shot which let you nock 3 arrows before using your regular attack to get 3 hits at once. It was basically continuously available Barrage.
Our DRG is great. I don't get the hate. Is it really that hard to get gud or is ours just crazy? He is usually >500 on 10 and just south of that on the others.
Drama bomb #2 incoming!
The legit hate on DRG is because they get lower maximum potential DPS and less group utility than MNK.
If you're going to do any theorycrafting for WoD speed runs, first determine what the best group composition would be for a speed run.
