That's why you stand in front of everyone when the tether comes out so you can intercept it regardless of what DRG it was tethered to. No biggie.

haha Nope! We started talking a little when we would run into each other in the first few months of the game, but we didn't really start talking until the holidays. They kept asking me to help sub in their group during the holidays when people were out for various things and I'd hang out with them some. Odo and I started talking a bunch and we really hit it off and now here we are! lol

What's the consensus on most useful warrior cross class. Guy I know swears second wind is a joke ability. My warrior isn't 50 yet but that thing heals my DRG for a zillion HP and warrior's get convalescence and berserk to raise attack power, so it should still be pretty sizable. He uses Featherfoot and/or Internal Release most of the time instead and they seem pretty weak (ffoot) and pointless (IR) in comparison to an additional burst heal, which can be life-saving. Any thoughts?
I use Internal Release, Second Wind, Flash/Awareness, Provoke, Convalescence.
Internal Release gives you that extra crit chance to help you out with dps and, combined with a possible Berserk + Bloodbath + Unchained can lead to incredible vamp ability. Critting Inner Beasts is pretty majestic. Second Wind's heal is based off of your damage ability, which helps when you have Berserk activated. You can heal a crazy amount of health. If he's CC'ing Featherfoot over Second Wind, I wouldn't listen to his opinions. I don't know if Convalescence works with Second Wind since I think it only corresponds to magic based incoming heals? But I dunno. Regardless, Second Wind is ace.
edit// Nevermind, the tool tip apparently says spells or actions, so yeah, it should work :x my bad.
Featherfoot isn't very good, since it doesn't even work on a lot of attacks. Internal Release is solid for extra DPS and it can give you a bit more healing with Bloodbath and raise the chance your Second Wind will crit.
I use Flash (situationally useful), Provoke (basically required), Convalescence (super good), Internal Release (DPS), Second Wind (emergency heal).
Second Wind really isn't that great either, it's only like 1000 HP heal while tanking, but there's just crappy competition for other skills to put there. Maybe Awareness, but that's also not that good unless you're doing Shiva EX. Mantra's probably the next best thing and it's also not very good.
Edit: As Valor said, using Second Wind with Berserk up (and Unchained/Internal Release) can bump that heal up some more, around 1600 or 2400 on a crit.

What should a WHM cross-class? I already have Swiftcast.
Nah, it's just Healing spells for Convalescence. Second Wind is unaffected.
As for the cross-class stuff, I use: Provoke, Second Wind, Convalescence, Internal Release, flex slot (Awareness, Flash, Mantra, Featherfoot).
"Only" a 1.5k Heal from Second Wind isn't really that bad when it's essentially an on-demand Cure 1. If you know when damage spikes are, you can help smooth out recovering from the hit or just use it to generate some bonus enmity early in a pull. Or when you want to sit there and DPS harder as OT, you just ignore running out of a mechanic and Second Wind off the damage.
I'd consider it essentially a tanking staple cross-class for Warrior.

Eye for an Eye, Virus and Surecast. Surecast isn't really all THAT necessary because for pretty much every boss attack that it would help with, you can sneak heals in with clever timing instead, but E4E and Virus, even if physical only, are really good.
You can technically take Blizzard II as well but I can't find any real applications for it outside of maybe binding enemies in PVP?

As people said, Eye for an Eye and Virus. Do make sure you're not using Virus randomly though if there's a SCH or SMN in the party. Virus puts a 1min immunity debuff on the boss to further Virus, and that's really annoying if you use your crappy physical only virus on like nothing because it was up and a big hit is coming up. It's good for a lot of stuff mind you, like adds or if the boss does have a big physical hit and you time it right, since the cd is a bit longer than the immunity so you can get better uptime. Eye for an Eye you just need to make sure you're not casting on the tank who's not tanking(in 8man). See that happens pretty often.
Note that while both are good, neither is really necessary. Virus is level 12 though, so it takes like an hour to get, so might as well. Eye for an Eye is 34, so a bit more annoying.

So close to 50 on my Pali, I can feel it! Just wish the que times were better for DPS so I could level my Ninja without waiting an hour everytime, sometimes longer...
Would you think its better to level one class to 50 first just to get the bonus and then level your second skill rather than making an alt hero? The secondary class gets only the leftover quests which I didnt leave alot so I dunno what to do other than Duty finder.

you want at least one class at 50 first so you can actually do the stuff at 50. like get poetics/soldiery. Also levequests and fates can supplement your leveling while waiting for df

Well, I'm jumping back into the fray now that the PC Master Race version is only $20 base price now. Was starting to miss this game during the month following me selling my PS4.
Also, damn SE servers are slow. Base game download from Steam of 10gb(?) was barely 3 minutes (Praise be to my glorious god-tier internet), now this 7gb update is "Approximately 32 minutes" lol.

Thanks for the recommendations. I have access to Swiftcast, Surecast, Blizzard II and Virus. Eye for an Eye I'm 4 levels away from on my scholar, but since it isn't strictly necessary I'll hold off on getting that for now in lieu of getting my WHM to 50.
Best option for shortening DPS queue's is to queue with a tank if you can. I think you can advertise in the party finder or ask someone in FC chat if they have a tank to run lower level dungeons with.
Best queue times go to Tank and Healers so Healers are also good to group with too.

Because I've already completed the daily and weekly hunts for the IF board and so far it looks like my only option for getting more past those is the A and S rank hunts if I get lucky.

Nope just from your GC. Imo I wouldn't even bother with the daily ones since they're a pain based on how many seals you get, but that was prepatch.

I am doing the daily ones though because they add up once you do the math.
If you do the dailies for a week that's 448 seals, and they don't take that long to do. The only thing that annoys me is that the 20 seal ones are hidden behind fates so you have to afk camp their spawn point until they show up.
How much do you get for the A and S ranks?
- Status
