I got a bartz card when I did a random trial (was it big keep?) for some last minute poe capping a while back. I didn't even realize it for a few days. Same shit happened with the onion knight when getting my weekly tower clears. I wish the same luck would run with my choco breeding. I'm way, way more interested in that than cards I probably won't use seriously.

Heck, I don't care how bad the card is at this point, I'm only eight away from being able use as many two star cards in my deck as I want.
Yeah, I realize that this doesn't help all that much against NPC's with a lot of 4 and 5 star cards, especially if it's not Plus or Same. Still, every little bit helps.

he's alright as a card. I still think Squall is superior for my decks.I always think I'm a bad and that someone, somewhere takes issue with what I'm doing. It's what pretty much sparks my need to understand everything down to the math involved and always feeling like I'm messing things up.
If there's a stream on, there's a high chance something said can be construed as that. But since we usually tell it straight to them when they come back (or just directly in /fc), I'm not really sure how to place it? But, that's also probably the case as well. Edit: Though I also totally get why some people take issue with the streams due to this, especially when it gets said directly in /fc instead of privately / directly to them.
The worst part of the lobby is that there's usually just too many of us. I just assumed that was your primary reason for staying out, it's too dumb and hectic to listen to constantly sometimes. I sometimes mute everyone and just randomly laugh at what I bet was a joke and call someone a shitter. Seems to work fine.

Maybe it's a case of me legitimately just missing most of this since I rarely seem to be around when these carries or whatever are happening. But I've never really heard any actual shit talking of GAF folk unless in like super extreme circumstances, like if someone shitposts in the thread and there's discussion about it or if someone is just like not trying and whatever.
I'm sure it does happen, but I think I'm in agreement with Galen that it's not like it's happening all the time. God knows I'm sure it happened after that 3 hours of Ramuh EX where I took the ring for my first clear. When comment is made about something that happens in a run I don't think it's meant with any vitriol or whatever. I feel like the majority of the people that hang out in mumble are nice people but get frustrated sometimes and vent. But it's not like there's like behind the back bullying going on or anything, at least from my perspective. Man it sounds shitty to say like "I've been bullied all my life so I'm qualified to know!", but well I was and that shit tends to stick out to me and I will call people out if I feel like that's the case. Thought sometimes I can get pissed off at people too, but it's only really when I think people have a shitty attitude.

As we regularly experience in our mumble. The best solution to shit talking is to talk shit directly to each other in mumble then hash it out in other titles. Maybe OJ 100%, emulated Dokapon, Mario Party, etc. At least that way you can exact revenge through much more punishing and effective means. That way everyone stays good and mad and we use that to fuel other endeavors: Coil, relics, etc
Tbf, you sometimes see people shit talking GAF folks for early pulls on hunts even if it wasn't GAF. (seen that a few times in the last week)

Haha I know but I had to mention it. I'm kinda glad I wasn't around when hunts were introduced and GAF got this... stigma of being early pullers or whatever.
As for mumble, I don't go in there much unless I'm not doing much/not listening to music. Mainly because I find random talking/discussions can distract me when I'm trying to focus on whatever it is I'm doing lol.

What classic Final Fantasy Boss fights do we still haven't seen make it into the game? I mean, besides obvious stuff like certain summons and all that.
I'm still hopeful we'll be able to fight against Dancing Calcabrina sometime in the not too distant future.

This is honestly why i never go into mumble. I've spent a total of like 2-3 hours there (over a period of like 10-15 times )since September 2013, and every time someone is shitting on some poor pug who didn't know T6, or someone in FC who wasn't in mumble. I personally thought it was disgusting and just stayed out.
idk, maybe I'm just too damn old, but it seems like people don't realize that the mumble lobby is a public space, and you don't say that kind of shit in public. Anyways, seeing all the love here warms my heart. And to throw in, it really annoyed/annoys me when people call me the lone ranger, its just gotten old.

I'd love if they put Ultimecia's Castle in as a raid. Would be awesome. Still one of the best dungeons in the entire series.
That'd be cool and it'd be pretty big with quite a few possible bosses so yeah. I'd love that too.

Four Fiends, or some Four Fiends analogue, would be awesome, especially if you have to do a gauntlet battle against all four back to back a second time later one. This however would probably be most ideal for a 24 man Raid, since those seem to be where they're putting nostalgic recreations.

A future raid series should involve the Scions as the bosses with Minfilia as the final boss.
Ultimecia's Castle was mostly memorable because it involved having to unlock things. I don't think the game's system would work well with that type of mechanic. Salvage in FFXI was similar to Ultimecia's Castle in that everybody's stats, gear, spells, abilities and gear were locked away at the start. You had to kill specific mobs in the dungeon for item drops to unlock things that you would need to beat the bosses later on in the dungeon.

Trying to think if there's any other "iconic" boss design that we haven't faced yet. I'm going to settle with space pope for the time being until I can think of one.
To be honest, I'd sort of expect people in DF to also have _some_ understanding. My personal outlook on it is that it's just a case of respecting everyone else's time. That said, I'm not terribly surprised when people don't know things for whatever reason since different priorities, opinions, etc. etc. Just deal with what you get, for the most part.
Of course, I'm definitely "that guy" who's venting to myself / Mumble / a stuffed animal about a DPS doing nothing, or a tank that takes minutes between pulls, or the healer that is AFK auto-following.
So is FC chat and yet far more shittalking occurs there as far as abusing randoms is concerned but nobody seems to care (except for me, oddly I guess). I consider Mumble, even the lobby, far more private than FC chat but maybe I'm mistaken.

Perhaps you're right, I haven't noticed, but I don't read everything that is typed in FC chat. Maybe I haven't noticed because its more spread out than the two dozen or so people in mumble. Its definitely something I'll be keeping an eye out for.
Its one thing to vent because you were in a trollish, especially bad group ( I mean stuff like the tank thinking he's a dps, a dps doing pulls and won't listen, etc). That doesn't happen that often really. Its another thing completely shittalking people who aren't "pros".
I don't think we have Hades yet. Also, before we can punch a boat, we need to be able to suplex a train.
A great primal or even 24-man raid would be the Knights of the Round summon. If not a primal fight then a raid which involves several of them as bosses in each tier.
Now that would be fun
A set of Knight have already been mentioned as a major plot point for Heavensward, so we may see the XIV analog soon.

You shouldn't generalize Mumble as a whole. There are plenty of great people that hang out there. I've seen just as bad or worse things happening in Free Company chat at times. I wouldn't say one is any better than the other. We police Mumble and Free Company chat as much as possible but we don't want to be too restrictive and we can't always be around all the time. Most people will agree that problematic users are dealt with swiftly and our line of communication is always open for those that want to reach out to us about problems or issues.
Edit: I do know that Mumble Lobby likes to watch other people stream and can get carried away. This might seem malicious to outsiders at times and could make others feel anxious or unwelcome. Let's try to dial this back a bit, please.

See that sounds like 90% of end game tanks to me. I swear tanks in raids get more hyped up by their own DPS than half the DPS I've seen. Especially warriors, who I assume are dealing with SCOB solo-tank irrelevancy PTSD.
