moba is basically taking the worst aspects and communities of arpgs, rts', and MMO gaming and combining them into one. shits pretty dope if you like grinding while being called a f****t by 12 year olds tho
Grind for what? It's a 20+minute game and you're done. What bad aspect does it take from arpgs or rts in terms of gameplay? I played diablo 3 that supposedly has the best moment to moment combat in arpgs and was bored. Only finished it on normal cant be bothered to level up, grind loot to have fun weapons. Community sucks but there are some good people and I mostly play with friends. Though I do occasionally enjoy riling up particularly mad players.

I enjoy working with my team to overcome our opponents it involves mechanically playing well to ensure you have an advantage winning the battle on your own lane, constant awareness of your enemies and teammates actions, synergising with your teammates and countering enemies through both skill and item choices. It also involves choosing the right strategy to counter the enemy, sometimes you just can't man up and fight 5v5. Never played a game that requires this much cooperation to be successful at, even in a team based shooter you can pull of solo clutch plays that would be far more difficult to execute in dota.

All this and it's creator isn't afraid to make major changes to the meta every few months so things never get stale.

Excited to see how good Lord Steppington is. I've heard a ton of Alchemist production but haven't listened to Evidence at all. With so many people calling it an AOTY I gotta make it a priority at this point.

Also gotta spin that new clipping and the Young Fathers from a month back and the YG and ESGN again. impossible not to be behind in music today.

Yeah man it's ridiculous. Trying to balance other genres too. I'm just slowing down and trying to appreciate 1-2 releases at once. I'll have these albums here weeks from now when we hit a drought.

YG is a must for spring break if it bangs though.

Evidince's solo debut is still the best project he's done. It was my favorite rap album of 07 and one of my favorite albums overall.

He did an ep a year or so later which was also pure quality:

it's def hard to balance all this. especially when I'm also trying to keep up on random indie/hardcore albums, and random ambient/techno albums, and listen to my fave overall albums at the same time. But YG i'm gonna try and make time for, I like the single.
no one on the Kool / Kass train? am I riding this one solo?
feel there's a couple ppl in here on that train. As a decently big kool fan, I'm not actually on the same boat. guess I gotta pay that another listen too. the 1.5 plays I gave COKE BOYS 5 didn't impress me that much

oh good so I gotta nother LP to play. GREAT (but really thanks this is cool)

Tape is great.

So last night I went to some fucked up rave thing in the basement of a copy shop. DJ ended up playing a bunch of young thug and the crowd went fucking wild. I already liked dudes music but hearing danny glover at ear busting level + being on wild drugs made me love the song even more.

first run of tracks on the YG album WOO. I love the immediacy of it all. No breathing room between tracks. shame he cuts the flow of the album with p bland skits that are reallyyyyy harping on GKMC. Might cop it along with Pinata this week just so I can have some proper warm weather whipping music, if this snow ever lets up.

e: also am I the only one who thinks every beat on this album could soundtrack N64 Goldeneye. It's all I can picture now

Why can't the rap heroes of today do blow, buds and the occasional dust? This opiate and molly trend is wack.
Gotta stay hyped off that EDM scene bruh. Bud has gotten so casual and expected hip.hop needed to adopt some new drugs into its repetoire.

Seems like the only current rapper who won't be broke making struggle videos/disses on WorldStarHipHop in a decade is Curren$y. The only rapper who brags about having his papers in order, has a logical business venture, etc.

Can't wait until Meek Mills is broke. I'd probably spend $1,000 just to see him back on the block with fucked up corn rows again.
