Turn 1 put it on the blue side so it only takes 1 damage a hit. Netherspite then never attacks the whole game.

Maybe it's just Void Walker then. I've used other low cost taunts and they've gotten Roar'd or Mulched, or whatever.

Edit: I do have to say though, it's also pretty easy to be Priest and put down a Shieldbarer and that lasts forever.

They all do in my experience.

I used the 7/7 taunt maker from warrior to lock up the windfury side after twisting neather. He kills the 1/1 and you have a 7/7 with windfury.

No I was agreeing with you. All mine got removed.

Also use the mech that can't be targeted by spells. No mulch for him.

Oh, my bad, sorry. Misread what you meant.

However, I think I solved it just by having something in the Windfury portal while there was also something in the one damage portal. He used all the removal on that minion instead of the taunt. So I guess if you get that settled, it's a pretty easy fight.

Heroic finished.

Malygos Rogue for Shade.
Zoolock for Netherspite.
Nzoth Renolock for final boss.

You get special dialogue if you use Jaraxxus against Malchezaar. Jaraxxus unleashes the smack talk, shows him who's boss.

Only last one was kinda hard but nothing too problematic.

New card back kinda sucks compared to Heroic LoE but I will use it for a bit.

I wonder if blade flurry with medivh's weapons causes a minion to summon before the weapon breaks.

The text on Atiesh says "after you cast a spell" which mean the spell you cast resolves before the minion is summoned. So blade flurry would destroy the weapon and not summon a minion.

Second 12 win run! I can't believe this happened and without mage!
Just the other top tier class

Having many 1 drops and 2 drops was as important as the arena specialists said. Also knowing when to go face. While sometimes I won with an absurd amount of cards in my hand it usually ran out of steam.

The final boss was Purify the mech Mage. Compared to the 10-0, 10-1 and 10-2 mages it was pretty easy. By the way, after 7 wins, apart from a rogue and a hunter, everyone was mage. Now I understand the frustration about their overabundance.

Does anyone know if Malchezaar can put legendaries from other classes into your deck? This is vital info for the Peddler Dragon Rouge deck I am fooling around with haha

he cannot, he obeys deckbuilding rules, and he can't give you multiple copies of any legendary.

He can't. He follows all deck building rules. So no legendaries from other classes or duplicates.

I feel Ironforge Portal may be the sleeper hit card from this last wing. It's basically a 1 mana lower Shieldmaiden replacement for Control Warrior and might be enough to enable Yogg Control Warrior or non-Cthun Control Warrior.

sooooooooooooo......

who's putting malchezaar in their deck? o
Already did and it has been doing work. Also threw in Demonfire.

Darkshire Librarian is kinda sketchy though without the Imp.

It's a solid card for sure, I plan to try it in by subbing out Bloodhoof.

I am just scared of getting Twilight Drakes...

If you guys don't mind please share your discolock decks. Are you guys just subbing out a few cards from the current zoo list or is it fairly different?

Successful comboed with Discards, baited out removal, got buffed with Demonfire and traded up etc.

Librarian on the other hand has just been a 3/2 most of the time. Even Silverware Golem has performed better.

Edit: Talking about Malchezzar Imp.

When you think about it you should just replace Argent Squire with Malchezaar Imp even if you aren't running any demon or discard synergy cards, it's just straight up better.
edit: nevermind, I guess it's not good for trading against a 3 or higher attack creature

Ironforge Portal seems like it will maybe replace Bash in a lot of CW lists? That is the thing that makes the most sense in my head at least. Better Armor gain and a minon vs a small removal seems like a no-brainer to sub in.

The Imp looks silly good in Zoo running discards. Like just drop him in and run doomguards. You're done.

But bash is way better in the early game.

I don't think Ironforge Portal is gonna make the cut, at least until there's a rotation and we lose some of the better Warrior cards.

So many Aggro Shamans and Dragon Warriors. I thought people would be testing out new decks, especially considering it's the start of the season. It's funny how most of them afk rage quit when things aren't going their way. It's like those 2 decks suck in those kind of players.

Enjoying Control Mage so far. This wing improved it's early, mid, and late game by a decent amount.

EDIT: Got Moroes on turn 3 from Prince Malchezaar and Rogue couldn't remove it until turn 8. So much value! Ysera on turn 9 LUL.

Prince Mal has worked decently out in a Reno Mage deck I've copied from Kibler. Basically put him in there instead of Yogg since I don't have him. Most have been 'ok' but in my last game I picked up Emperor and Rhonin who pretty much sealed me the win. ...but Gruul and Boogeymonster sat dead in my hand.

What's your control mage list looking like?

So is this the revitalization of the Dragon Priest? I haven't create a new dragon deck but has it been viable for anyone?

Also wondering if spirit claws will be a better weapon than rock biter? A lot of stuff to experiment with tonight.

all heroics done

didn't think it was quite as good as LOE overall which is a bit disappointing with how good the first week was but still had a lot of fun with it all in all

the netherspite fight was interesting, ridiculously easy with a taunt based priest deck but interesting mechanics nonetheless

I gave up on the last heroic and decided to make a control dragons pally. It works great in standard so far. Given that I climbed up to 19 with it on day 1. I might continue on this path. What would a good 1 drop be? Currently I run some arcane anomalies and a divine strength and noble sacrifice. They are great turn 1 but otherwise meh.

My first game trying that Y'shaarj Hunter and my Barnes gives me Y'shaarj, which gives me Y'shaarj.

lmao, I think I'm going to like this deck.

Rockbiter is better because of the synergy with Doomhammer. I think Spirit Claws is getting overlooked a little bit, but Shaman has tons of early game already, so it's not like they needed it.

I definitely think a 1 mana possible 3/3 weapon is atrociously good. Especially with how often the mana buff totem is usually on the board.

my demon zoo works pretty good so far, climbed a lot of ranks. I play 2x demon fire, with this many demons, it works really well now. if you hit it on 1/3 on turn 2, you have 3/5. It gets quite crazy. Having two imps on board and soulfire, draw 2 cards lmao. It's so busted when it works. I'm running 2x soulfire, 2x doomguard, that's all the discards I have and it already gets awkward at times, I can't imagine running anymore and those other cards aren't worth running really. I'm playing 1x demon wrath too, it's pretty good for comebacks, people don't expect it either. Rest of the deck is similar to old zoo decks. I'm not sure about tentacles, don't seem that great now.

It's in tempo/control decks. Priest and Paladin.
edit: now a Shaman

That's what I would assume. Doesn't make any sense to put him in a faster deck since you're just diluting your draws.

Just seems to be a type of card a lot of newer players would slot in because of the 'cool,' factor.

So peddler doesn't reduce the cost of the fireballs from Antonidas? Seems like an oversight unless I missed the explanation.
Just want to make sure we get the idea down right;

> Play Antonidas as a Rogue, get Fireballs from spells.
> Play Peddler with Fireballs in hand but they don't get reduced.

If that's the case, I would guess that those Fireballs from Antonidas are some sort of special case card that they forgot to include.
