Beside it being its own brand of weird.

Its just people almost having sex, its just dissapoint. You dun even have to show it, I just people to act differenttly.

Then some guy got a pot shoved his ass.

Japan is weird.

It's not really people mostly having sex though. It's one girl forcing a man to commit the most heinous looking shit for laughs.

Also, if you're still looking for manga to perk you up, I'd recommend hinamatsuri, soredemo machi no maitteru and angel densatsu.

I never cared about seeing stupid Hinata, Shino or InoShikaCho attacks (I don't get why those three powers are supposed to have practically any battle symmetry anyways). Also, I thought Tsunade was still using Katsuyu. Also also, isn't Manda dead?

Power, Skill, Speed is always what I get from Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji. Power is obviously choji but Shikamaru has the finesse and skill to deal with multiple enemies using his technique but he doesn't have the speed to do so which is where Ino's sensing and mind-swap abilities come into play. The skill they used in 633 wouldn't be effective without each of their talents as well.

Hinata not getting any new skill other than doing 64 palms was kinda lol but Shino getting super bug was pretty cool.

I just hope Kishi doesn't forget Lee and Tenten.

I guess I just got the impression the only purpose in giving them new powers is so they'll have more moves in the next Naruto video game. They're just fighting meaningless Cell Jrs anyways.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I caught this but I wasn't sure if the author deliberately made this "joke". Still funny either way, considering how somber/moody this chapter was.

One Piece 710:

Definitely going to miss Law when he leaves the crew. It'd be nice if Robin spoke up more like Law does when it comes to plans to keep the "Hey someone on this crew can actually make coherent plans" element, but I know Oda doesn't want that for the Straw Hats vs keeping the constant "world of wonder and discovery" theme.

Setting up offense vs defense, it's odd though because I'm a fan of defense and argue football is a defensive game. Guess I'll have to change it up in the second match.

Eyeshield 21 9-19

The second game was more exciting though the outcome was predictable. The bats aren't ready to take on such a team, they need more ace players. I get the feeling "derp derp derp I can't tell Sena = Eyeshield" is going to get old fast.

Smoky BB 1

I need to reread this with a better translation, pandas made it impossible to tell who was who and what was what. Loved the art though

Am the only one getting kind of bored of this? I don't know what it is but Toriko isn't engaging me like it used to...

Maybe Shokugeki no Soma showed me what a real cooking manga is like. That's a series that needs faster translations.

Felt like a FU to his readers too. :p

Ah well, I guess he probably does have enough to retire by now.

I hate those moments when you're looking at super old posts and find one you wanna reply to...oh well.

Ken Akamatsu's starting up a new series and last we heard it was still scheduled for this Summer. He's said it may be his last series.

By the way guys what was the name of that weird manga where that guy made a wish to be closer to his childhood friend and somehow their rooms merged together or some crap

Let's go back and see Buranchi moving at mach 30,000.

As a football fan, I had similar issues about strategy. Stuff like "Why aren't they using a Flexbone as there offensive set" or "Why aren't they abusing PA?" They manage to get a ton of things like that in by the end of the series, and use them as shounen power ups. It gets better.

I still don't buy that this was ever thought up in advance.

It doesn't feel like a fluid arc where Kubo was intending all along to go in this direction. It feels like Kubo sat down after the Aizen arc, read all of the back volumes to inventory the open plot threads and then figured out ways to resolve while simultaneously retconning earlier elements into looking connected, e.g., let's make the bad guy look like Zangetsu and then Zangetsu will be evil all along.

That's how I've felt about Bleach for years. There are manga like FMA in which a plot twist feels genuinely thought out and well planned, but Bleach is no FMA in terms of surprising plot developments in my opinion.

First we got Black vs. Clay which was average. Clay's boring anyway so nothing special.

Then, we meet Skyla. She pushes Black off a tower and shoots him out of cannons. She's awesome.

Pretty much. Yea it ties it all together in a bow, but it feels far from organic. My brain knew it made sense when I thought about it, but when I read it my gut called bullshit. This is why.

just another female stepping stone to Ken eventually assuming Nobunaga's role in the manga.

A lot of the dialogue in Bleach is extremely vague and could mean anything. It all ties together fine when Kubo makes a twist, but it also never does feel, as has been said, organic.

Beam linked to those panels with Hollow Ichigo talking to Zangetsu earlier and yeah they make sense in relation to the current twists. But they would also have made sense if the twist was something entirely different. What Hollow Ichigo said could be interpreted multiple ways.

Hey guys, anyone read Aku No Hana?
Because I actually just want to stop at Chapter 46 and pretend like it's the end and it's a happy ending.

There's quite a few people here who do, although discussion is usually limited to those days when a new chapter is actually out.

e: man, ended up rereading 45. Dem feels. Nakamura returning with her motorcycle and brass knuckles is going to sting pretty hard.

Laughing Banana

Weeping Pickle
I actually agree.

That being said, and I highly doubt anyone remembers it, but my all time favorite One Piece overreaction face, was way back in the early days where they encountered giant sea monsters where this whale like monster lifted the ship from the sea and they were on top of its head.

Don't know why but that always puts a HUGE grin on my face.

do you read one piece out loud?

I think you guys misunderstand.

Not silly expressions like that one Enel panel, no, but rather how characters like Usopp or Nami or Chopper tend to yell/scream on whatever stuff for like every 5 panels or so. Character A says/do something, they go "WHATTTTT?", Event B happens they go "WHAT IS THAAAAAAAT?", Character B says/do something they go "NOOOOO!" or whatever stuff like that.

I like One Piece's silly expressions, but stuff like above now beginning to annoy me.

I was thinking that as well, but I still want a robot arm. The begining of chapter one actually shows stuff that happens after this and she has both her arms but the missing one looks different.
