Looks like denim.
Hopefully we can ship Crapuano somewhere during the offseason for some Cracker Jacks in return.Glad we don't have to start caps in the playoffs. Donny may need to tweek out the lineup. Hard to score runs lately

Cubbies come into town today. Going to tomorrow's game for the Rick Monday bobblehead. I get to see Kershaw for the first time this season.
Damn right it was a win and we're going to make it two in a row! No longer should I have to suffer with watching this team lose in-person! The baseball gods better recognize that I have feelings too! This tuesday it is war. WAR DAMMIT!Last game you went to was a win I believe.
Believe.
Give it three years.i would like jose fernandez to play for the professional baseball team that I associate myself with and support
HAHAHHAAHAHAHHAAHHHADerrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Nationals want a "group of prospects" for Dan Haren, who cleared waivers earlier this month.

Dombrowkski knows how to warm up the Marlins the right way for cheap, he'll be a Tiger's pitcher in no time!
Man someone shop the troll face into that gif.
Marc Craig said:Source: Matt Harvey underwent an MRI this morning at HSS. More details forthcoming.
Fuck, he said he felt tired. Ill be praying to the basedball gods its not serioushttps://twitter.com/MarcCarig/status/372072506309357568
Even though I don't like the Mets, it would suck to see such a great pitcher get injured.
http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/08/26/uh-oh-matt-harvey-had-an-mri-exam-today/UPDATE: Oh no. Mike Francesa of WFAN radio in New York reports that Harvey has a torn UCL in his elbow, which is the injury that requires Tommy John surgery and a 12-month recovery timetable.
Rosenthal said he does indeed have a torn UCL. 99% chance he needs Tommy John surgery.
Wow, that is fucking unbelievable. That pretty much eliminates Harvey from all of 2014. I like to joke around with Mets fans, but that's just awful.
That's awful news anytime a young player is derailed like that. Seems like a crapshoot with any hard thrower too. Is there anything you can do to prevent these things?
also guess Kershaw locks up the Cy Young.
You'd think I'd be upset, but this team has already made me emotionally numb. Not like they were going to compete next year anyway.
The Mets' medical staff is very, very inept. Why not just get the surgery now? Waiting never seems to work and just delays recovery time.
Oh trust me, I know. You never know that, teams come out of no where to compete all the time. Plus they play in a terrible division. Hell frankman probably still thinks they can compete this year.
Well, I'm not throwing stones from inside my glass house. The Mets' medical staff is very, very inept.
Oh trust me, I know.
Even though TJ surgery has better recovery rates than other types of pitching-related surgery, there are still risks involved (as with any surgery). It's easier to say he should get it over with when it's not you going under the knife. Why not just get the surgery now? Waiting never seems to work and just delays recovery time.
Even guys like Wainwright who successfully navigated a wait and see recovery period still usually end up needing TJ down the line. Harvey is young and plays for a mediocre team, so I feel like it makes more sense to allocate rehab time now rather than later when he might play for a better team or have other complications.Even though TJ surgery has better recovery rates than other types of pitching-related surgery, there are still risks involved (as with any surgery). There were similar debates on Cards forums wrt Furcal and Motte trying the "wait and see" approach before consenting to surgery.
Such is to be expected when you're a Met fan.
Kershaw and scherzer for cy young.
