yes that's how baseball goes, but I don't just look at W & L record I see how they play and most of those games are just hard to watch mainly because of our Manager and his Inexperience. In any case it would mater because they cant beat the Reds, Pirates, LA, or ATL which are the teams they would be seeing in the playoffs, they dont have a team for the playoffs. And that +22 is from very early in the season they were 57 - 36 before the AS game, they are 22 - 23 since then. They're playing sub .500 baseball themselves, so lately they've lost more games against those team than you'd think.

And like I said, I agree that they won't get far in the playoffs playing so inconsistently. I was only addressing your comment about missing the playoffs entirely and trying to talk you off the ledge, bro. They had a weak schedule to start, a couple rough stretches in the middle (they've still only lost three series against bad teams since June 1st and one since the all-star break), and have a weak schedule to end. They could absolutely figure out a way to fuck things up, but it's still too early for me to worry about it.

Just have to make the postseason and crazy shit can happen.
