One of my friends thought it was pronounced José. Now we always make fun of her and call it "Joooooosé". Haha.

I prefer a Four Loko over Joose. I've never had that flavor of Joose, I'm sure all flavored malt drinks taste terrible though.

Man, that fricken' beer was downright nasty. Completely knocked me out. Fwiw, I've not had a beer since last christmas and this one was pretty strong. I'd worked 22 hours in the last 36 and wanted something to keep up this evening...mistake, I fell asleep right aways! I'm a Belgian beer guy, through and through, but this one was at the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Comes highly UNrecommended!

I just drink them really fast, and I only drink them when I want to get wasted. Haha.
They really don't make sense though, they're pretty much a depressant mixed with an energy drink. Kinda pointless.

To be fair, I was at one point a fan of energy beers...loved Liquid Charge. But now they've forgotten about flavor and instead are in an arms race for the highest degree, all the while trying to avoid being reclassified as a spirit. The hipster kids in my So Cal area seem to go for Black Label Sparks. Ugh.

Bought me a cleaning set for my Wii, after trying it five times over the course of a week... It finally worked! Brawl is back! Hell yeah!

I never tried, but I believe you can use some 3rd-party software like xpadder. You do get used to the keyboard and mouse, though holding ctrl in the stealth sections nearly destroyed my fingers!

Got quite a few games in the last few days. PS1 games are from Goozex, Klonoa as a gift, Raiden Fighters Aces I got at gamestop, and prinny and Kurukuru Kururin were from gaf.

The new Crippled Black Phoenix double album, a 4GB memory card for my PSP, and a dirt cheap Chinese wireless router that, five minutes out of the box, works better than the Linksys or D-Link ones I had tried in the past. Finally able to use my laptop around the apartment, stream media to the PS3, etc. Yay.

Ok, so I got my HD Box Pro today from www.hdboxpro.com in Hong Kong. Sorry for the orgy of pics, but I'm someone will be interested. Do note that the following pics are of terrible quality partially due to the camera and partially due to my lack of photography skills. :'(

My 24" monitor (Westinghouse L2410NM) has component video input along with composite, s-video, VGA and HDMI. These are just a few preliminary shots to compare the box to the monitor. The box has support for resolutions ranging from 800x600 to 1920x1200 (my monitor's native res). 640x480 was removed due to limited memory, but they will add it in per request.

Also, when dealing with widescreen, this monitor doesn't have an option for 16:9. The closest is "Full" which is 16:10 so there's some vertical stretch. The box has support for 4:3, 16:9 and Full despite resolution. I currently do not have an HDTV and I bought this box for my PS2 and Gamecube (component cable is en route from Japan). For my Xbox 360 I just use HDMI.

So far of the games I tested, Ratchet and Clank Going Commando has show the most improvement. I'm still tweaking and messing around with it though. The pics don't show as much of a difference, but it's a little more noticeable in person. Still not night and day, but noticeable. The VGA pass-through isn't so hot as it has a very slight blur so I'll need to get a dedicated switch box for that. All the reviews I've seen have been ones of praise (considering it's price point), but I also heard that my monitor actually has a pretty decent scaler for it's price as well. Not sure I gained a whole lot, but it sure is nice to play widescreen PS2 games in actual 16:9 without the stretching. :D

DS2 vs booty. Hmmmmm...

Got some yesterday, but more booty is good. But if I go for the booty, I won't be able to pick up DS2 until Thursday morning (more booty to come on Wednesday and Thursday). If I get DS2 this afternoon, I can play it for a while, go to work, and get booty tomorrow instead.....I can't believe I'm actually contemplating all of this :lol
