The trailer's not bad. Sets about as good of a "Fantastic Four in the real world" tone as possible, although it's worth debating if that's the best way to make a Fantastic Four movie (pro-tip: it's not!). But damn, Doom looks awful. I really hate attempts to reinvent his look. Just give us a burned man with a metal armor and mask, in a green cloak. The metal doesn't need to be "part of him" or some sort of super power. Doom's super power is his brain.

X-Men Apocalypse and Deadpool look so good. What went wrong here?

I don't mind the cast though, hopefully it's better than it seems

I can't really imagine how a Fantastic Four movie could work especially after seeing the last two and this one doesn't help me imagine it either. It's just another Superhero origin story done way too late with the plot of saving the world from it's end. Where can this even go after they defeat Dr. Doom? I have too many questions and not enough faith to buy a ticket to this movie.

Yeah I dunno about this. The original teaser looked intriguing but the more they show the more disinterested I feel.

The trailer look good, the problem here is more how they changed Doom more than anything.

If this was an original thing instead of an adaptation I think it would be way better received. The team itself looks great, at least their powers since we don't see much of their personalities. That last line by Reed couldn't be more cliche either.

Torch also looks less playful than I think I would like. He still looks to throw quips and whatnot but in a more "I'm super serious" tone than his character should be.

Oh man this looks terribad. Unfortunate, since I generally like most of the actors, but with each passing trailer my expectations just go lower and lower.

So the Fantastic Four 4 was around for Ultron's lifting of an entire small country?

There's a fan theory that if Dr. Doom is introduced to the MCU, he's a scientist from Sokovia crippled in the Ultron battle and blames the Avengers and uses the Ultron drones to make Doom bots and uses the castle from the film as his HQ. He takes over Sokovia and renames it Latveria.

SUPER HERO MOVIE: THE MOVIE.

looks like it brings nothing new to the table.

the development hell it was supposedly in doesnt help either

I... like it?

Doom looks bad, sure, and dialogue is terribad, but at least it's different than the previous FF films. I think I'll enjoy it.

It's pre-special effects. It'll look better in post, right? Right?

lol nobody thought it would look worse in post

I want to like this but it's so far removed from what I want from a F4 movie I just don't know. Who knows, maybe it will be good.

Looks very much like the first arc of Ultimate Fantastic Four.

Movie looks laughable bad, so much CGI, Kate Mara is still too cute, and Tim Blake Nelson is probably still wishing Ed Norton hadn't parted with Marvel.

Sooooooooo is Fantastic Four in the comics good? If so, how come we can never get a decent movie (still having hope for this one). I even like the cartoon series. The Thing was my favorite in the cartoon.

Yep, still looks terrible.

I honestly just hope this bombs hard enough that Fox sells the rights back to marvel. They're the only studio that seems to be able to get the balance of drama to campy fun that these more 'out there' superhero films need.

Doom looks like he fell in mud and goose crap, then rolled around in radioactive garbage.

Screw the pretense of trying to be positive; the movie looks cheap, bad, and the acting looks/sounds terrible from what should be a really talented cast. Pass.

We are never going to get a non-shit movie Doom, are we?
Not from Fox apparently. They seem to feel the need to alter his character in terrible ways for some reason.

This movie looks about as good as Batman v Superman, just with worse special effects. The worst part is gonna be sitting through their origins again.
