You've a plethora of power at your disposal, but the big selling point has been how your library of old games will run on the XSX? You are still refusing to show real next-gen gameplay of substance 28 days before your system launches?? That's four weeks. FOUR.

PS5 went with 99+% BC, replete with small enhancements unless patches are issued for games. That's it and that's more than sufficient. There will be plenty of games who put out patches, plus I'm sure it'll be tweaked and enhanced.

BC should not be the primary marketing point for your next-gen console. It isn't what people want a next-gen system for.

I can concede that point. I feel there is a distinct gap here.

We're definitely a good bit past the olden days where I think for my OG launch PS2(which still runs to this day, amazingly) I picked up Tekken, Ridge Racer and I believe Summoner.

I can't remember what I picked up with my 60GB PS3. I believe it was just Resistance. So yeah, Xbox is similar in terms to that system if anything. But theyll get there.

I never picked up an Xbox at launch; however, I ran out pretty quickly to get a 360 once my best friend showed up with his and Oblivion(I'd never played a Scrolls game).

I remember coming out of the sewer and was like "Okay, where do I go?" And he was like "Wherever you want." I was sold then.

I would still say....these could be different from the actual retail units? Preview units? ...but with how packed in the box is..I could see heat being somewhat of an issue. Also depends on where it is placed or stored for proper ventilation.

Im not sure what to make of it, but its a potential issue to be aware of and keep an eye on in the next few months

Just want to add my 2 cents on "overheating Xbox" issue. It's possible it's just an glitch that happens in certain cases.

I saw a message similar to this in one of the reports and I've gotten the same similar message on my Xbox One X over the years and it never actually was overheating. For me it's happened a couple times randomly on occasion and recently during that demo fest they had one of the demo's in particular would cause the fans to freak out and end up with this message just from trying to launch the demo. They mentioned those demos were still a work in progress and might not even work. What I'm trying to say here is that it's possible especially on those prototype units with freshly released game builds/compatibility that some might have run into those errors. Not saying it's impossible that they're overheating, just throwing this out there.
