This.

Most of SE's ports to iOS make my brain hurt just looking at them, especially the FF games with "new and improved" graphics.
The text is the worst.

Also FF3 was my favorite FF.

I like 7 and 9 and 10 too. 9 being my favorite after 3/6. But 10 and 7 were cool too.

Chrono Cross is an abomination.

Amazing that we can play there games on our phones. Too bad they suck dick.

FF6 is untouchable! It is the Dan Marino of FF games only in an alternate universe where he won multiple rings.

People brought it up in the Madden thread a while ago, but hearing it here again, I just started listening to Serial. probably halfway through ep 1. Pretty interesting concept

Would have been fun to see Little Nicky burst into flames as his defense struggled to contain Boykin...pulling for OSU, but I doubt they have much a chance.

Eagles fire Tom Gamble. The media guys on twitter are surprised he was fired.

Holy shit wtf? Here I was worried he would leave as GM for another team. He only lasted 2 seasons. Something seems fishy. I rather have him than glorified accountant Howie leading the team.

Shocked about this.

Some are making this out to be a Howie Roseman vs. Chip Kelly clash. I've seen it said that Kelly had his shot at team building last offseason, and the team regressed, so the power will go back to Roseman now.

I never know who to believe in these situations. I do know Lurie's runs a very classy organization and I doubt he would keep guys around who are sabotaging others or give power 1 year to one FO member and then to another the following season.

Gamble was brought over post Reid to work with Howie and Chip to build a contender. Everyone claimed he had his hand in building SF into a great team.

If egos clashed I would have assumed it would have been between Kelly and Howie. Whatever the case I don't like this news. Howie has no.scouting experience and was part of horrible drafts in Reid's last 5 seasons. Chip seems to be grounded in reality but he seems to draft his former Oregon players more than anything else.

Gamble seemed liked the most reasonable best equipped personnel guy between the 3.

it is impossible to find a WiiU pro controller or the gamecube adapter in stores. WTF is up with that? Figured they would be everywhere considering no one owns a wiiU.

No one owns a Wii U except for rabid Smash Bros. fans! That's the problem.

Also Nintendo seemed to underestimate demand for those adapters.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Lions averaged 10.2 points a game against playoff teams this year.

10.2.

:jnc :jnc :jnc

And I own a Wii U. Best system out right now. Captain Toad is fantastic.

Seahawks, 6 games: Denver, Ari x2, Dallas, GB, Car

Avg 25.3

Not terrible
Arizona probably the best D they faced and they managed decent + good points on them both games, so yea. I think 21 is a good bench mark.

Packers faced Seattle, Detroit, Carolina, NE, Detroit.
First two didn't reach 21, but at least they were real early. Not that we met that mark against Buffalo, which is why Seattle remains the largest threat for most teams on paper.

Hmm I think I'd argue that Denver has a better defense than Arizona, but yeah I agree with 21 points or so is the mark to note.

If you want to firmly beat Seattle, you need a very strong ground game, a strong run D, and SPECIAL TEAMS. Seriously not sure why folks aren't focusing on ST that much, but if you can pull some moves with ST there is a very good chance you'll win because Seattle's ST is shit. Look at the Rams game for example

Panthers played 6 games vs playoff teams, averaged 19.3ppg.

Of course, at that time, they also gave up 28.3ppg.

Fortunately, since their bye, the Panthers D is giving up an average of 12ppg (not counting the two punt return TDs given up by the ST in the Vikings game).
