Meh, two of the more boring teams in the finals.. dont care that much either way but go Kings I guess..

Also, Henrik Lundqvist is ridiculously overrated.

I don't think the Kings will be able to pull it off, they need that extra offensive spark, like All Canadian hero Dan Cleary.

Don't worry though King's fans, when the Rangers win this year and you guys need to add that extra piece, we'll trade you Cleary's rights for Kopitar. As you all know Cleary is probably one of the greatest NHL players in the league right now and this trade is almost lopsided in the Kings favor, but I would do it just to help them out.

Our fan base knew to boo Bettman at the cup raising. LA fans were too busy taking selfies while making crying motions at injured players.

Real talk: Everybody from LA is terrible and awful.

:lol

That's not really fair though, because Staples would be too empty to boo Bettman in the event of a cup victory. Everyone will leave as soon as time expires so that they can get out of the parking structure in less than two hours.

And we even managed to score more goals than the Habs in the regular season, all while being super boring and defense first!

Only 5. Idc.

I honestly can't understand why I find the Rangers so boring, but every time I watch them I find myself bored.

Could have to do with the fact that they don't have that one, standout line, or superstar forward that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

My liege is clearly disgusted and repelled by what is happening next to him, there. He cannot be blamed for Bieber showing up to that baskets ball match.

The Rangers were boring as fuck throughout the first round and most of the second round. They really stepped it up in the ECF in terms of energy. Of course, you can't blame a Habs fan for not being able to appreciate it there.

Salt?

I found the Rangers boring throughout the season, and through the first two rounds. The games against the Habs were exciting to watch, but I always enjoy watching the Habs.

Never said they were shit, and I'm perplexed as to why I find such a fast team boring, that's all.

Anything said by a fan of a team that is not currently in the playoffs is categorized as "lol salty as fuuuuuuck."

Pretty much.

Even when Montreal isn't playing I'm a fan of hockey. Rangers made the Habs look slow as fuck, and I still can't muster up any excitement to watch them play the Kings.

They've got a lot of good players, their depth is impressive, but who should I get excited about on offence?

Rick Nash?

That's sort of this team's MO. No one single guy. Instead 8 guys have 10-13 points each.

But one of those guys has played in literally half the games that all the others have played: Chris Kreider. 10 points in 10 games. Everyone else in the Rangers' 10+ point club has played 20 games (except Stepan with 19). So there's your guy to look for.

Daniel Carcillo's suspension reduced from 10 games to 6. So he will become available for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

"After reviewing the incident, the commissioner determined that Carcillo should have been punished for a violation of Rule 40.4, for deliberately applying 'physical force to an official for the sole purpose of getting free of such official during or immediately following an altercation.'"

Fuckin' lol. That's bullshit, he was not "just trying to get free."

Per the full Commissioner's opinion, Carcillo, Driscoll (the linesman involved), the NHLPA, and Bettman were all in agreement that he was solely trying to free himself of the official's grasp, and that his relative proximity to the fight between Dorsett and Prust is what made Driscoll act in the first place, which fulfills the criteria of occurring "during or immediately following an altercation."

Carcillo is getting 6 games instead of the minimum 3 due to the level of force he used, the fact that Bettman feels his use of force was "not accidental," and the fact that Carcillo wasn't engaged with another player, meaning it would have been easy for Carcillo to simply give up and skate to the box.

I just think the fact that he wasn't engaged in the altercation, plus the fact that he struck the official with the elbow of his free arm, puts it past where they decided. Not going to lose sleep over it or anything, just seems weird to reverse it like that.

This is the best part of Bettman's statement:

"He then told Mr. Driscoll to 'fuck off' but did not remember what else he had said."

Drsicoll's side of the story:

"He told Mr. Carcillo he needed to go to the penalty box and the latter responded, 'fuck off,' followed by 'get your fucking hands off me." As Mr. Carcillo tried to break free, he hit Mr. Driscoll with an elbow to the jaw, prompting the latter to say 'Dan, you just hit me. You just hit me." At that point, Mr. Carcillo stopped resisting, allowed himself to be escorted to the penalty box and apologized."

Ugh. Gotta' wait another damn day for game time. I guess I shouldn't be complaining with the shit schedule the Rangers have had early in these playoffs.

That's funny i thought the Habs series was the most boring because of how bad they played. I'm glad we don't have that "one guy" because then the thread would be full "X is an overrated piece of shit hur hur hur".
