That's utter nonsense. Neither Obama or Clinton are centre right by any definition of the term, even European left wing countries. People need to start actually looking at policy positions and voting records rather than spouting this drivel and pretending Sander's is the only left wing person in the USA.
I mean you look at something like Obamacare and yeah, it's nowhere near as to the left as nationalized healthcare in some countries, but that was a lurch left from where we started and Obama initially wanted more. He probably would have asked for single-payer if he considered it politically feasible. There's not really much perspective.

This is the guy whose first major action in office was signing nearly a trillion dollars in stimulus spending and until the GOP won the House he kept pushing for more.

Let us dispel with this notion that Barack Obama doesnt know what he's doing is fiscally right.

Rush just said democrats were a minority in this country and republicans in the majority, I guess if you literally don't count minorities. Which, considering Rush is probably par for the course.

Until you look at the MA exit polls and see it's not just those regions.
I'm not talking about exit poll data. You've got counties that Sanders carried a few nights ago that had 4 times the amount of votes as the Republican primary did, that went to Romney in 2012 with 70%+. Went to Coburn and Inhofe reliably every time and voted against Obama in the 2012 primary. Oklahoma Dixiecrats couldn't vote in the Republican primary on Tuesday.

Why is the Sanders team still going full attack on Hillary? If he's really supposed to be a message candidate, this is just kinda terrible.

Does this surprise people?

1. Sanders has always been too good to be an actual Democrat up until he decided to run for POTUS, then he joins the Democratic Primary. Outright carpetbagging.

2. Sanders preaches against money in politics yet took part in the most expensive election in Vermont history where he spent $5.7M to his opponent's $6.5M.

3. Sanders throws out policy that would require a massive tidal wave sweeping through both houses to even get the discussion going, yet he has nothing going on down-ticket. So apparently the "revolution" is supposed to just magically take care of all that for him.

4. Sanders argues for single payer when he is personally responsible for the biggest black eye on government run healthcare recent U.S. history, the Veteran's Affairs scandal of non-treatment that occurred during a time when Sanders was the chairman of the senate committee overseeing the VA.

Just a handful of the disingenuous reality of the Sanders campaign. He's a career politician even moreso than Clinton. The only reason Sanders isn't part of the "establishment" is because he's such a goddamn ideologue. He is incapable of working with other elected officials on anything of substance, and his legislative record proves it. His only contributions in both the congress and the senate is as a contrarian dissenter.

For whatever reason, Hillary Clinton is seen as a corporate candidate and a war hawk. It's probably Bernie's fault.
Hillary was viewed as a warhawk before the primary. The Clinton Doctrine by Bill has done her no service:

Clinton Doctrine said:
It's easy ... to say that we really have no interests in who lives in this or that valley in Bosnia, or who owns a strip of brushland in the Horn of Africa, or some piece of parched earth by the Jordan River. But the true measure of our interests lies not in how small or distant these places are, or in whether we have trouble pronouncing their names. The question we must ask is, what are the consequences to our security of letting conflicts fester and spread. We cannot, indeed, we should not, do everything or be everywhere. But where our values and our interests are at stake, and where we can make a difference, we must be prepared to do so.

Why do I get the feeling that these attacks against Trump happening this late will only empower Trump and his base?

Signed the Change.org petition to Arrest & prosecute Bill Clinton for Violation of Mass. Election Laws.

Not only did Clinton likely break MA electioneering laws, his actions meant that people couldn't vote for around two hours, at the polling station (as shown in this YT video), due to the circus (Secret Service etc) that accompanies a former President...

This is yet another example of a Hillary failure, as whilst it may have given her campaign a short lived boost, it is already backfiring to a large extent, with currently 87k signing the petition, with negative press coverage on the Inquisitr etc, and Debbie (The Sane Progressive) had a good segment on this and Bernie's performance on Super Tuesday.

Nice to see you Daniel. How's the revolution working out for you?

FYI, even if Bill did break an electioneering law, the punishment is a $25.00 fine. You can't be arrested for it.

However, the fact that Bill was able to disenfranchise nearly 20,000 people at a single polling location is amazing. I'm not even mad.

Oh hey, this Trump rally is at my birthplace. Cool city, weird choice for a Trump rally since it's really liberal but I guess there aren't many cities to choose from in Maine.

Ah, I'm happy delusional reddit arguments are being brought to the forefront by our most prescient Sanders supporter

Watch out for Killer Mike, he's going to lead to a Bernie win in Alabama

Bernie's performance on Super Tuesday? You mean getting approximately 1 million less votes on Super Tuesday? Getting smoked in delegates?

Just curious. Clinton won Massachusetts by about 20k votes. Do you think these actions prevented the necessary 20k and 1 voters from turning out and handing Clinton a defeat?

How much of a boost do you really think this gave her? Imagine if Sanders had one more delegate and Clinton one less delegate = Sanders wins the nominee?

Who do you think is signing this petition that isn't already a die hard Sanders voter? You might get people on the news clarifying that Bill Clinton didn't break any laws. Well done? What a back fire!

I'm almost rooting for a Donald Trump presidency at this point. All the shitbag Bernie supporters trying to poison the well deserve to reap what they sow.

Maybe then they'll realize that elections have consequences and running a blatantly false smear campaign on a similar but less extreme opponent in the primaries can have very real and very dramatic consequences indeed.

Bullshit. Obama/Clinton didn't turn into that at the end- almost all the shit was external to the campaign.

This is being directed from the cockpit.

Bernie hasn't been in control of this campaign for a while.

And my Senator is on the teevee right now. I love this man!

Firing DWS is the olive branch that can bring Hillraisers and Berniebros together.

If she has to be sacrificed for our glorious Queen's coronation, then so be it.

"Hillary can't be trusted. DWS rigs the primary for her and Clinton turns around and stabs her in the back . . . WHO CAN TRUST KILLARY???!!!!!"

Prosecute Bill. Take this to trial. Convene a Grand Jury. The People should be afforded an experienced special independent counsel, namely Ken Starr, to investigate, prosecute and handcuff Bill because of his refusal to pay penalty of $20 to the Election board.

The fact her campaign feels it's necessary for these poorly thought out stunts (in terms of long term effect), is actually encouraging :).

What are Republicans who are used to voting straight ticket but can't stand Trump as President going to do? I can imagine the GOP losing votes just out of sheer laziness to fill in every R bubble lol.

Can we impeach him again? Like....from the human race or something?

Let me break down the two pieces of bullshit in this post:

2. Sanders preaches against money in politics yet took part in the most expensive election in Vermont history where he spent $5.7M to his opponent's $6.5M.
These is a nonsensical criticism for a couple reasons. One, in history doesn't even count inflation. Two, in history doesn't even reflect what was the second closest one was. Three, you don't even consider where the money comes from. Four, was this before or after Citizens United and other legislation that allowed for more money to be spent? And five, the fact he won a campaign where he spent less money than his candidate is rare and doesn't take away from his message.
4. Sanders argues for single payer when he is personally responsible for the biggest black eye on government run healthcare recent U.S. history, the Veteran's Affairs scandal of non-treatment that occurred during a time when Sanders was the chairman of the senate committee overseeing the VA.
The VA has been a problem for decades, including when Bill Clinton was president. He's not personally responsible for it. Saying so is only less wrong than blaming Obama.
Bullshit. Obama/Clinton didn't turn into that at the end- almost all the shit was external to the campaign.

This is being directed from the cockpit.
It had been worse than this beforehand.
I expect better from you.

I have to admit, I am pretty worried. The $25 fine issue is just the kind of game-change issue that can tip the scales towards Bernie nationally. Given the very credible delegate math that points towards a Bernie win, and the fact that Hillary's best states have all already voted, establishment dems have good reason to be running scared.

I stopped reading dkos pretty early in Obama's presidency. I couldn't handle the cesspool of sellout accusations. I've been catching up on kos's commentary for this election, and man, I seriously love him. He's a great analyst but has no pretense about coming at everything from a bare-knuckled "democrats first" perspective.

Agree 100%. It's great because, while politically he's probably a bit closer to Bernie, kos has a finely-tuned detector for bullshit and a low tolerance for same. He's been telling his very Bernie-minded community from the start that no, this isn't 2008 and yes, Hillary is going to be the nominee. Of course, this means many kossacks now actively loathe him.

I actually go straight to his author page these days, whenever I visit the site.

I really hope those Reuters numbers are showing the pulse of the country. I know it's early, but I need something to calm my nerves right now.

Even if it's early It's not like people don't know who Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are.

Human Becoming is right about point #2, Sanders hasn't said take money out of politics (as I recall, he said he'd like 100% publicly financed campaigns but that's very unlikely to happen, which is rich (pun intended) coming from him) and that he wants to get rid of unaccountable money and corporate money out of politics. So it's not a big deal that he spent a lot of money on a campaign, unless that money comes from somewhere that he's railing against. The other three points stand, though.

Anyway, it's really unnerving to see Sanders and his surrogates attack Clinton for Obama's policies (and some outright attacking Obama), especially in a Democratic primary. I'm getting annoyed by it.

This Bernie/Hilary thing is just getting silly. Bernie resonates with people, that is totally cool and you can vote for him until the process is over. However, these attempts to say that Hilary is some scam artist and is puppeterring the election is a bad look for his supporters. It seems like a last ditch effort more than an actual strategy, just throwing stuff and Clinton to see how it sticks.
It is not nearly as bad as Rubio saying Trump has a small dick, but it has the same implication. The implication that the campaign that you have been running with is not working and now personal attacks are your best shot. I genuinely think Bernie and his supporters want to be a message campaign, with a focus on the issues, but doing stuff like this only harms that core appeal.
