Common sense is a conspiracy.

It's like if the race was called for a presidential candidate when they pass 270 electoral votes but not all polls have closed, and the other side freaks out and whines.

I literally don't understand why he keeps pushing this narrative as if it's going to change reality. I think he needs to start encouraging his people to face reality or they're going to be really mad when it does hit.

He's doing nearly everything in his power to cast the entire process into doubt, making Clinton look like some illegitimate front runner who is not 3 million votes ahead, and 300+ pledged delegates ahead. I really don't think he's going to endorse her until the convention...

I'm guessing the president will give a live statement a day or two after the 7th, congratulate Clinton for securing the nomination, and invite her to the White House. Maybe he'll invite Sanders as well.

It's over, and anyone who thinks this process should go to the convention is delusional. IF he wants to go to the convention by all means go ahead, but Clinton will complete her pivot to the general election on June 7th.

After CA Clinton could be 400+ delegates ahead and 5 million votes ahead. But, and this is a big but,
fraud

I don't think Clinton will win California by 1.5 million votes. I think it'll be closer to a 3.8 to 4 million vote lead.

I definitely think the President will officially endorse Clinton in a public fashion at the White House shortly after DC votes or Sanders drops out after June 8th. He wants to consolidate the party and get his hands dirty on savaging Trump. When there are no more excuses for Sanders, Obama will endorse Clinton and bring it to a close.

I wonder if Karl Rove will be on fox news again on election night like the last presidential election and talk about how trump is guranteed to win the presidency while it looks like Clinton is going to win it.

No post it.

Also I am still watching the TYT and Bernie just encouraged his supporters to not vote 3rd party.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...15e02e-2386-11e6-aa84-42391ba52c91_story.html

Sanders’s campaign for president has sent progressives in search of friendlier media, especially since he fell prohibitively behind Hillary Clinton in the delegate hunt. Formerly reliable sources of news and analysis, like MSNBC, began to look like Clinton PR; comic anchors from Trevor Noah to Samantha Bee to John Oliver have mocked the Sanders voters who can’t see that he’s losing.

“PolitiFact looked into the charges of rigging in Nevada and found no clear evidence the state party hijacked the process,” said Oliver last week, “and you can disagree with that, as I’m sure Bernie supporters in the comment section will.”

That’s not a message Sanders diehards want to hear. The search for analysis of how the candidate can still win has built a massive Reddit group, turned freelance columnist H.A. Goodman into a viral hitmaker (typical column: “Bernie Sanders Will Become Democratic Nominee Even If Clinton Leads in Delegates”), and boosted the Young Turks.

Cenk however is not crazy:

Uygur is aware, more than most Sanders supporters, of how wrenching a defeat could be. Some progressives, who will have seen a political insurgency almost overthrow the leadership of the Democratic Party, will wonder why they should stick around. “Jimmy’s almost ‘Bernie or Bust’ already,” he said. Uygur was not.

“I’ve defended the Clintons longer than I’ve been a liberal, but I don’t have any nostalgia for that,” he said. “I know what I’ll be getting — the same thing I’m getting my whole life. Screwed, but in a reliable way. But that saying, stick with the devil you know? This is the one time it’s true. The devil I know is the establishment, and I’m gonna beat that devil. It’s a matter of time. Trump is a maniac.”

Rove has been ostracized for how much money he spent failing to take down Obama. And pretending to his donors that all was well with the entire election.

get some go again
cenk is directly profiting from all the views and paid subs he is getting from sanders supporters so he knows he has to go along with them until they can't be milked anymore. after that he will probably dial it down a bit and try and get back many of the viewers that left since many sanders supporters are likely not going to remain as politically active once bernie drops out.

Yeah, last night's show was awesome. It also really underscores just how much unseen material there is with Trump. Here's to hoping Clinton's oppo research team has already combed the shit out of all of this stuff.
Dude is going to be buried and meltdown so hard. I think her team will do the job and exceed expectations. Trump doesn't deserve dignity. And this is just on the subject of his misogyny! Imagine what long lost material there is on his racism, shady business deals...

I think one of the biggest testaments to how fucked up the Republican Party is, is that it does so badly with women. In most developed democracies, women tend to support economically rightwing parties moreso than men - e.g., in the UK women support the Conservatives at higher rates than men, in France they support UMP/the Republicans at higher rates than men, and in Germany they support the CDU at higher rates than men. Women should be a natural constituency for the Republicans - women across developed countries continually place higher value on familial bonds, traditionalism, and are typically more restrictive in their attitudes towards welfare. The fact they're not Republican indicates just how out of control the Republicans are; they've lost the ability to actually be a genuine political force that campaigns for particular demographics and have just become an angry shouty mob.
