Nothing is. I mean, it goes without saying that no group of people agree on everything. I don't agree with most of the posters in the thread on business but I think I still count as "on the left." Praise Benji.

I like how the unprecedented, sensational, false, and despicable attacks against Obama in 2008 now seem extremely tame in comparison to what's being thrown against Hillary. We have the republican nominee calling her literally the devil, a "monster", a
criminal, etc. The damage has already been done, this level political discourse will continue for her entire presidency.

Two things. Not every issue has overwhelming uniformity in opinion.

Jill Stein might not be an adequate representation of the far left, but yeah the left is probably pro-putin.

There are many strands of thought in the far-left. The minority that supports Russia because they are a thorn in the side of the US are usually Maoists/third world Maoists. Stalinists and Maoists are usually the guys that support North Korea, USSR, Maoist China, Cuba, Russia, Iran, eastern bloc, etc. The rest of the left usually calls them tankies. Most other state socialists like Trotskyists and democratic socialists don't support those countries (I'm not willing to paint all of them with one brush), and libertarian socialists/anarchists fundamentally don't like any of them. Personally I can't stand tankies or people that support the previously stated countries. Tankies are usually edgelords who entirely ignore issues faced by minorities and instead focus on their hatred for the west.

Also, Jill Stein is edging on being a democratic socialist. A single democratic socialist is not representative of democratic socialism, and democratic socialism is not representative of the entire far-left.

Eh, I mean it's pretty awful discourse, but Obama has been called the devil or anti-christ over the past 8 years. That may have mostly been with the rise of the tea party and not in 2008 though

I didn't think we would ever see a repeat of the 50s and 60s when the far left worshipped Stalin, but this video truly shocks me. What the *fuck* does this incredibly stupid woman think she is doing and saying? Has she no fucking grasp on reality at all? Human Rights and International Law in RUSSIA?

Yeah just replace racist jokes with sexist ones its basically the same thing. This campaign doesn't seem particularly different than any other one in my lifetime in this regard.

It is seen in places like in Europe were some left groups are anti- EU. Although, not all the left is the same, but I wager that it has more to do with being anti-intervention, anti-globalism, and possibly wanting the country to solely focus on itself. I don't think some leftist groups care what happens on the outside of their country. When another country challenges the country you think is causing many problems, some will be alright with that even if that said country is not much better. I also doubt they pay much attention either, and probably think that stuff about Russia is western propaganda.

I'm so glad Trump is an idiot. Queen of Corruption sounded like something that could actually stick if he kept using it but now he's back to unstable Hillary.
