Though there have been plenty of calls to attempt to retire butheremails.jpg, I refuse to give it up until people who unironically said it during the campaign apologize. You expect him to care? Even from a pure self-interest point of view it doesn't matter because they live in California and their support doesn't matter at all to his success in 2020.
SUCCESSFUL BUSINESSMAN
Well, for two reasons:
1) People assume money and power implies intelligence. This is incorrect, but also counter-intuitive. Stupid people get rich and are in positions of power allllll the time, but people don't realise or stop and think about it to understand how or why.
2) Without wishing to sound mean-spirited or condescending, it's entirely possible for Trump to be more intelligent than those respondents. That doesn't make him intelligent, sadly, only more intelligent than the people responding. IQ averages and education, and all that.
It was more of a remark that this is a fucking FB post of some random that happened to be nearby. Also, how about holding your important meetings in places where there is light?
Retiring it is an admission that we're too sensitive to admit how true it is. We as a nation showed some of the most hilariously skewed priorities during 2016, and now we're paying the price for those skewed priorities.
